Here's a game that I think would be fun... Not sure if it's been done before but here's a good way to start out:

I will list a certain character build. The person that posts after me will name the character build that they think would best defeat my build. The person after that then lists the character build that would beat the character build listed after mine. So on and so forth:

Example (Not necessarily the correct Beat that Build)

Knight Terror: "Skelemancer"
Poster #1: "Hammerdin"
Poster #2: "M'avinazon"

You can be as specific or vague as you like.

And please, let's keep from the bashing (i.e. - "That's ------- my lvl 62 Frenzy Barb kicks the crap out of lvl 88 Bonemancers everyday! You don't know what you're talking about!) Remember, these are all opinions and certain players play better with certain characters.

It will also be a good way to help new duelers decide which character build to use when they start. Any questions?

Is this thread here to just allow people to get more post counts?

Because half the answers are stupid, and I'm not really understanding the point of this game. To help nubs understand pvp? We've already strayed far off from that, and even in the beginning it was pretty off-course.

Using this logic, nobody would ever die. "I'm not stupid enough to stand and wait for your WW Barb to swing by me." You do realize, that "Skilled/Well-played" Hammerdins have tactics that nearly FORCE you to run into their hammers? Point blank, the only way for a WW Barb to kill a Hammerdin is to come within range of the Hammers. This means that a well-timed Hammer will hit you when you try to attack. Hammerdins have the advantage over a WW Barb, plain and simple.

Not neccesarily. I mean they'll both try to desynch, they'll both try to lure eachother, and they'll both have high def, high damage and high life, where the paladin will be the one who can create a barrier of high damage hammers, while the barb will swing faster and have more healt, though the paladin can probably take the most hits. I'd say the one who plays most defensively and is best at desynching the enemy would probably win. Beside the paladin has that "blind" spot, and if the barb finds it, then it'll be about 3-4 beserks and toasted.

not really. ive dueled the best barb on the west and number 2 and 3 and etc plenty of times. things i found out? i need to get close to him to hit. and he needs to get close to me. yes you can say that he can simply desync hammer. but then again he can just massive leap spam + desync whirlwind. id say the % of a bvc barb beating a hammerdin is slightly tilting towards the hammerdins side, but its not astronomical.. more like 40-45% for barbs. (all this is assuming no life tap or widow)

Btw, i play barb, i dont play hammerdin. (only use him as the rusher) I know the good hammerdin can be hard.
