i made one: harmony colossus crossbow. i used it for a time when solo questing half past hell act2, and will use it for a while later. not an end-game wpn to most bowazons, but not bad for a strafer, just like buri. using strafe, this harmony seems to kill faster than a blade harmony.
i'll need to study xbow ias (changed in 1.10) more to decide if it's worth making an expensive runeword using it, like faith.

BUt the Strength require to used it is alot for a zon, is like 150 something and the +3 skill should be noted for (even through i dont really care) so thats why most zons prefer GMB or Mat over a colossus Crossbow but i would say a Xbow is a lot cheaper than a GMB or A mat bow

I want to make a Harmony in Chu-Ko-Nu or Gorgon x-bow for an experimental ranger-zookeeper necro with a hoarde consisting of skellies, mages, revives, merc, golem and valk hehe.
Thanks reply.
Can anybody give me a link to calculate the IAS of Xbow?
I always wonder whether a BOTD colossus Crossbow is better than Faith +3 GMB for strafer. +60%IAS and -20% reqirement are nice for colossus Crossbow.
Thanks

I would go for a demon xbow or a gorgon xbow, demon for speed and gorgon for dmg you decide

German weapon speed calculator can be found here (http://diablo2.ingame.de/tips/calcs/weaponspeed.php?lang=english).
Making Faith into a crossbow is not a partucularly great idea, because X-bows have a max speed cap at 11fpa - quite low (bow max speed = 7fpa), although they do have a better damage bonus.
I think the best platform for a Faith crossbow is Gorgon though. Demon Crossbow is quite fast of course, but the extra speed is not really needed, since 11fpa is reached quite easily with Fanaticism aura and some IAS. You also lose a lot of average damage by using Demon x-bow - it's better to use a Faith GMB then.

I remembered reading an arguement a long while back regarding exceptional and elites and which are worth their elite status. With just +10 ave dmg a Demon Xbow requires 141/98 str/dex while a Cho-Ko-Nu requires 80/95 :P Now a Gorgon xbow meanwhile has +25 ave dmg from its exceptional counterpart, the Siege xbow and the requirements are too obscene hehe

i second that.
the idea to make Faith on a slow xbow is to take advantage of the xbow's high dmg and Faith's aura and ed%. Fastest xbows like demon and c-k-l do very low dmg just like bows (Faith's ed% wasted). But unlike bows, they leave very little room for extra IAS to take effect (Faith's aura wasted).
Also, making Harmony on fastest xbows, such as -60 c-k-l, is not sweet either. You won't multi with xbows. But with strafe, their dmg is only enough to get you through NM up to Hell act1. A plain buriza can beat all of them by a great margin.
