I have been reading these forums forever but didnt register untill today, but i needed to share this.
yesterday i had one of my best mf days ever.
found
2 ist
2 mal
1 um
1 mara 28
1 tal armor
and one whisp projector.
dont know what you guys are used to, but it sure as hell was a good day for me :)
well where did you find these? Because 5 runes is hard to come by in 1 day or even a week. 2 Ist and 2 mal is very good...

all the items and the 2 mals and 1 um was found on meph runs, the 2 ists were on hell cows.
But as i said, it was my best mf day ever :)

i probelly did around 100 runs on meph, with no mh :) avraging about 3-4 mins pr run with my fast running baba :clap:

the fun thing is that when i was going on cow runs i was looking for gems, but i only found around 10 flawless in about 10 runs.
Also found a lot of other stuff, arreats, occu, lightsabre etc that im going to try and trade for some puls or gems

i thought i read in one of the threads that tal's armor cannot be dropped by meph.
i guess he can then.
Meph cant drop tals armor...
May i ask what kind of barb this is? And his gear/Stats?

hmmm must have been at cows then, i could be wrong.
but i do know for sure that the maras dropped from meph :)

No skillers or anything
he is lvl 83 atm
(even though i do use concetrate on meph)
my merc is holy freeze with bonehew+duress and a strgt helm to be able to carry bonhew

iirc, some things in durance lvl 2 can drop Tals armor, so if he was running, and killing things on his way, he coulda gotten it on a meph run, though not on meph himself.

You could find Tal's Armor on the way down as I had Gris Caddy drop from a random Blunderbone boss pack once, but I know that if I did find Tal's armor during a Meph run I sure as hell would remember who dropped it...

I did find tals armor along with all the other stuff.
And im happy about it and wanted to share it with you people.
But i wouldnt consider my self less lucky if i had not found
tals armor yesterday so no point in telling something that wasnt true.

Good job guys. I held you guys in higher esteem. I'm kind of ashamed of how quick you were to jump him. The minute there is a hazy detail, you automatically label him as a botter, a cheater, a mher, a lier, and/or a cat ****er without letting him respond. BD, don't let em bother you, generally this is a good place, but sometimes this happens. Don't let it getcha down, this can be a fun place to post when people aren't all pissy because they had a rough day on B.Net. Also, a word of advice... try not to double/triple post. You can edit your recent post up to 30 minutes, as well as respond to multiple questions/statements with one post.

I'd have to agree with Lucky. Why would you automatically assume he's lying because he found a few nice items? What would the point of lying be even if he hadn't? Some of you need to lighten up a tad.
Yeah, sorry m8 for being so quick to jump you, looking back that was a little evil to do. Considering their was no evidence or anything against you. Anyways I hope you decide to keep posting here, and I apologize for my haste in accusing you. Besides are local bear needs more food... er I mean friends.

We've all seen this more than a few times on this forum:

Ya sorry to jump on you its just that...2 ist 2 mal um almost perf maras, tals armor all in one day and you cant remember where you found some of the stuff kind of fishy. There have been a lot of posts just of people saying that they found stuff for...who knows why. Sorry agains

sure you can be suspious, I didnt know that is was normal that people come here saying that they found all kinds of stuff even though they didnt.
I useally dont read threads about people talking about what they found.
But the reason that i joined was because i found it crazy that i found all that stuff in one day.
The best thing i ever found before was a single ist, all my other stuff is traded for gems>runes>items or for items traded from my hf quests. Or friendly people just giving away stuff (talking about tals armor i have also been given one of those by a stranger a few years back).
Anyway I will stick around, so i hope we can get along even though you didnt find my first post to be realistic/possible

hmm.. this osunds a lil fishy to me. Memph can't drop tals and 2 ist and 2 mal? The mal i can understand as i have gotten 3 from hell forge in that past month. But the 2 ist?? from hell cows? Id have to see it to believe it. I have only found 3 ist in my lifespan of d2. And i know it was a longtime between each of them. I found one in ladder season 1 and then 2 this season. Sorry to sound rude but I don belive this -_-

I believe Ist can drop from mephisto. The chances of getting them however... NOT good.

they're excited and wanna tell someone but don't want to tell them how they found it? I'll come out and say it i dont care :) I had a buddy once, used to meph and pindle all day long, find all kinds of junk. Logged on one morning said
"Aaron omg you wouldnt believe it, I found a windy and a GF in my first two pindle runs this morning!" I congratulated him as I've never found either (I don't MF) and went on my way. Later in the day someone who knew him in RL said "Aaron so and so's has been botting, i know you are against it so i thought you had a right to know who you're hanging around with."
All i'm saying is it happens, and it's really not so uncommon.

Moot point, but someone from this forum actually found a Cham off Hell Meph, so he certainly can drop Mals and Ists.
Meph can drop up to 'Lo' atleast. Found my own from there :P

Well, extremely nice finds. I've seen *look what i found* threads before but none like this. You seem to have found some very very valuable items in a mass quantity in a very small amount of time. Which leaves speculation to as if your finds were legit or not. Anyways, nice finds but next time just make sure to remember where you find each of your oh so gooodly itamz. ;)
