zealot vs zealot gear?

I'm new to 1.10 zealot duels although I loved them in 1.09. I'm assuming the skills are maxed zeal, fanat, holy shield, sacrifice and defiance; but what about the gear? I'm on ladder and have a rather large budget so if you can help give ideas of what gear I should get for my pvp zealot I'd appreciate it. Thanks.

yes, ive read, but he doesnt even recommend exile, which everyone i see uses. I dont think this guide is relevant any longer.

Hey, "everyone" uses it, I guess it must be good then.

Aside from a lack of a recommendation to use exile, what else about the guide makes it no longer relevant? You do notice this is a .10 guide I'm sure and the author was well aware of exile's existance when he wrote it. Why do you think he omitted it?

(These are hints, I didn't suggest this guide for no reason, trust me.)

I don't use Exile and I kill lots of PvP zealots. I get killed sometimes as well, but that is the nature of PvP. He also doesn't mention Grief or Phoenix, which a lot of people use. if you have a large budget get an Exile, a HoZ and an SS and see which you like better.

My setup looks like this:
Shako (with 37ed/12 life jewel)
Angelics with 2 rings
Eth 196 Zod Gbane
Crap Dungo's
Ik Boots/Gloves (Super underrated IMHO, Massive Life/ias/def plus 20 dex/20str, what's not to like? Sometimes I switch these out for eth trek/dracs in pubbies.)
SS (um'ed)
397 Grief PB

I prebuff Holy shield with HoZ/Spirit
I have D-Limb for enchant and a +2 Bo CtA

I do alright in pubbies. I personally don't care much about exile because there is a serious diminishing return on Def after about 30k.

my zealer has a stash full of stuff cus i like to switch my set up every once in a while. but what i use:
helm: ber ber coa or eth andys when useing death
ammy: highlords
weapon: eth dc, eth death zerk, ebotdz, eth razor, grief pb(only use when a smiter joins)
armor: fort archon, up'd shaft w/ 38%ed jewel(only use with andys), eth gbane
Shield:exile vortex(res but i want a ed/ar)
gloves:20ias gloves(only use with death), rends, dracs
belt: dungos
boots: up'd gores
charms: ar/life, anni
switch: cta/spirit
