I just had Gris shield drop for me, completing the one set I never thought I'd find in a million years... back in 1.09.

So I was thinking of making a Pally to use the complete set since nobody trades for that crap anymore. Anyone have a suggestion for a melee build that best utilizes this set? I was thinking Avenger and Fanatic Zealot would be my main options. If anyone's had any experience with the set please post. Keep in mind that I don't really want to spend a fortune trading for 20+ max jewels for all the sockets either.

some ideas:

avenger sounds good because it doesnt matter what type facets you put in the holes. all of them benefit you in some way or another

holy shock does insane damage with that many facets

holy freeze doesnt quite compare to the other two in terms of damage but is safer, much safer

or make a foh dueler :) you'll be laughed at for being so ghetto, but then you'll have fun with that many facets

Of course you don't.
You want to trade for LoLoLo for the weapon sockets and maxes for the rest ^_^

How much do junk Facets go for?

seen as low as lem and as high as um (non perfect ones)

Alright, interesting twist... just found Mav's Bow, completing that set also for me. Should I just keep making set characters as I find them (already had an IK Barb), or is there a chance in hell that the full sets themselves actually trade for something at this point in the ladder?
