Is it worth to upgrade Hotspur Boot all the way to Wirmhide? ( Only 50 Str req )

In what sense? Resale value or additional defense?

For resale, probably yes, since brought back to NL this would be quite unique. For the additional defense, probably not.

No I would not recommend it. Infernostride is a better boot for fire resists.

If you're looking for a balance between r/w and fire resists, perhaps. But for casters you simply can't beat the mods on hotspurs, since it'll cut the damage from fireball sorcs dramatically.

Not for resale. The stat on Hotspur is good against Fire sorc, Fire elemental druid.... etc all fire pvper but more defense on boots would not do anything against casters.

The str req is pretty nonexistant even at wyrmhide.. I'd say go for it, just because it'd be more stylish. It wouldn't help at all though, seeing as the only time you'd wear them would be against fire-based casters anyways..
