Can you use any of the Barb combat skills in Wolf Form?

Also, I've never seen someone playing one before. Are they rare or more of a dueling phenomenon?

no combat skills, no warcries

you cast BO in barb form, shift, and then use feral rage

Ah, okay. So the basic point of the build to make ones self nigh indestructable then.

I think there are guides on this but this is how I built mine. Max shout/bo/ironskin/weaponmastery. No combat skills. It's a long way to 79 but can be done. There's more points leftover to buff up natural resist/increased spead or whatever. Use 2x spirit swords to prebuff.

Yeah interesting guide. What effect does using 2 weapons have while in wolf form and using fury?

There's no 2 weapon benefit in wereform. You mean feral right? Feral is pretty cool skill. Makes you leech like 50% and run really fast. Adds a little AR and damage but not much for a barb. Look for alternate sources of damage. I would say use ed% gear like fort/phoenix, or go for speed with fast crushing blows on a 6 shael phase. Azurewrath is a good weapon for wulfbabas for PvM.

Ohhhhh. Feral Rage. I misread fury. That would have been a lot more interesting.

Hi Zero-Unit! I have read your wolfbarb and palabear guides and kudos on the great work :D I am wondering why a bearbarb (Beast r/w to turn into bear) isn't viable? Is it because they attack too slow..or don't do enough damage..or have bad AR?

They are viable. It is just thy do not gain certain bonus's like a Wolfbarb does. You end up sacrificing a bit to use the bearform. And most of the reasons are its speed and attack rating.

Thks for enlightening me :D Pity as barb could dual wield and i was thinking of beast+spirit broadsword combo to boost wb/lync hehe.Perhaps with bears gaining more life than wolves in theory a BOed bearbarb could have a rather high life but can see pitfalls :(

Yep, that's the big problem with bearbarbs, attack rating

They have obscene life but the werebear form has no AR bonus and beast gives no attack mode to use like wolfhowl's feral rage. This means that even with tons of AR charms and angelic combo + maxed mastery you will be hurting if you try PVP.

Sorry Zero, I was pretty sleep-depped when I read the guide and didn't catch those details.
