Hi all, I just received confirmation that fury/duress is a good setup, and now all I need is simply Berserker Axe, so, where is the best place (on hell) to get simple white berserk axe, what act?
Thank you.
If its simple and white and a berzerker axe it WILL get 6 sockets automatically. You're gonna have to wait till one drops 3 socketed...gl?

Fury/Duress?
Duress is mainly used for ow.You get 100% ow with fury/dracs/gores.So a fort or stone will be better.
Rik
Why not Eth botd axe, Duress, Gores, 10% ow belt and ber ss. thats 53% OW with good f'in dmg right there.

You could also use the socketing formula for a 1 in 6 chance of getting one with 3 sockets as long as you don't want it on a superior axe. But why Fury? Seems like rune abuse to me. Once OW kicks in it has a lasting duration so going for 100% OW is kind of an excess on any build that hits quickly and there are plenty of other ways to get a high OW that don't involve using a Jah rune for a 209% ED runeword.
Why here's a convenient list of them:
Malice Melee Weapon 100%
Ripsaw Flamberge 80%
Fury Melee Weapon 66%
Goreshovel Broad Axe 60%
Kingslayer Sword/Axe 50%
Steel Sword/Axe/Mace 50%
Bloodmoon Elegant Blade 50%
Fleshripper Fanged Knife 50%
Razor's Edge Tomahawk 50%
Swordback Hold Spiked Shield 50%
The Gnasher Hand Axe 50%
The Meat Scraper Lochaber Axe 50%
Woestave Halberd 50%
The Impaler War Spear 40%
Toothrow Sharktooth Armor 40%
Bloodthief Brandistock 35%
Crow Caw Tigulated Mail 35%
Blood Crescent Scimitar 33%
Cerebus' Bite Blood Spirit (Ladder Only) 33%
Gut Siphon Demon Crossbow 33%
Lacerator Winged Axe 33%
Langer Briser Arbalest 33%
The Scalper Francisca 33%
Riphook Razor Bow 30%
Soul Harvest Scythe 30%
Um Rune (in weapon) 25%
Beast Axe/Scepter/Hammer 25%
Chaos Hand to Hand 25%
Crescent Moon Axe/Sword/Polearm 25%
Doom Axe/Polearm/Hammer 25%
Bloodrise Morning Star 25%
Boneflesh Plate Mail 25%
Butcher's Pupil Cleaver 25%
Dracul's Grasp Vampirebone Gloves 25%
Fleshrender Barbed Club 25%
Infernal Tools (Complete) 20%
Skull Splitter Military Pick 15%
Gore Rider War Boots 10%
Anyway, AFAIK, any of the lvl 85 areas are best for finding Zerkers and they don't drop frequently. I've been doing a lot of socketable searching and only see Collosus Blades, Zerkers, and Archons once in a blue moon.

1. Sorry I meant fury/fort.
2. These are the best forums about Diablo 2 LOd, but sometimes we go off topic, in what act is it better to search for Berserker axe?
3. I have ethereal Botd axe, max damage is 521, I don't have any damage charms, and still damage is too low.

Yeah I'm serching a lot for it, but still nothing, some ettin axes, ogre axes, cryptic sword once, but no zerker.
People generally find the axes in the pitt of the tamoe highlands, act 1 hell difficulty with as little MF as possible.
Just as a side note, when you equip fury, your display damage won't really go up - it will actually drop a good deal lower compared to your BotD. It just makes up for it in pvp via open wounds and deadly strike.

MF is Magic Find.. there're some guides and such written on it floating around here somewhere, I'm not quite sure. What Hal means, I think, is that the damage of an EBotD far outweighs that of fury -- but fury has open wounds and deadly strike, which an EBotD wouldn't.. but you can get those from other equipment as well. It's all personal choice, really. Go with the flow.
