A good starter build?

Hi, I was just wondering what could be a good started build for hc? I haven't played d2 in over a year, but I'm coming back next week, and straight to hardcore. My friend and I were wondering if there could be a good mf couple, that could be started untwinked without a real risk of dieying. So basically what I'm asking is, are two builds that could get an advantage from each others skills and form a good mf couple. Preferably they could also mf alone, in more safe areas. Thanks :)

Trapper + Summoner
The summoner should have LR as well.
They'll both be able to mf solo with ease, and when they're together they'll be a pretty decent kill speed.

This late into the season though it should be noted that you could just level to ~40 in baals with any character that can kill cows, farm cows for a while to collect pgems, trade the gems for items to equip just about any character adequately for hell.

Aside from the other suggestions, you can try Barb + Summoner. Barb can give BO and the amplify damage from the summoner will help the barb do more damage.

Thanks all for the suggestions. I discussed with my mate and we decided to go with Trapper/summoner with me being the trapper. By the way, if there are people from europe hc , it would be nice to get to know you since I'm starting out from a scratch with no friends, and it would be nice to know people :)

Cryer barb + Sorc

The barb can buy +2wc stuff in early nm, the sorc gets to have double her life/mana and the barb (since he doesnt really need str) can tank away. Blizz sorc would be my suggestion as the barb can keep them in place very, very easily.

I'd think vengeance pally + any sorc would be a pretty good and a somewhat unique combo.

I have three characters on Eropean HC ladder that are just starting. A Zealot at level 21, a berserker at level 8 and a fishymancer at level 7. They are basically untwinked as they only exchanged items with each other and an earlier incarnation of the fishymancer that was killed in the HoD by carelessness.

I've played them SP, but if you guarantee that no PKers will enter your games I like to attend.

Hi, i´m up for running with you guys! I have soloed everything since I started playing again because I hate public games because of the pkers and have a lvl 82 necro (can rush hell if you are patient) a lvl 65 blizz sorc, lvl 47 fana zealadin, lvl 42 2 hand maulbarb, lvl 22 frenzybarb, lvl 22 hammerdin, lvl 19 bowazon and lvl 1 orb/meteor sorc.

All of them are untwinked xcept for the necro wich has 3 items that i traded for, viper, shako and waterwalks with a gul rune from my hellforge quest ( so basically almost self built ).

If you would like a partner i´m always up for lvling any of my chars and if you need help with hell or nm i´m always ready to help with my necro.
