Are there any good bow runewords?

Hi

Yesterday i found an elite class specific bow 4 soc + 3 bow skills in hell cow game.

On the trade value forum someone told me it's worth Ist but it's hard to find a buyer.

Now i've been thinking... are there any good bow runewords?

Brand or faith or so?

It probably depends on the bow --- "elite class specific" still doesn't tell what bow. If I were to stick high runes into a bow, I'd probably want a good base item...

IMO Faith is the best runeword for an amazon! GMB with +3 bow and xbows skills /4 sockets. Pray that u get a good roll that has lev 13 fana and up!

Some people prefer MB instaed of GMB! I prefer GMB for more damage! :D

Brand, Ice and Wrath are not good! Weel maybe Ice is better than the othe 2 cause it has som ias!

If you spend two HR for the bow, I suggest to spend another one for a Fortitude armor as well. I did. My zon is happy :)

I just needed two because I made a small miscalculation, but now she carries another allres GC instead of an extra quiver of arrows in her stash and finally she has maxed resists with a little excess res in case she gets decrepped :)

My Ama doesnt have max res...but i get by very well with high level Merc + Valkyrie...Sometime i switch to Harmony and raise a new army to aid me! :D

She had resists in the 60s before and going from 65% to 75% means suffering 1/3 less elemental damage than before. I like my zon to make solo Baal minion runs (when I'm fed up with Baal runs with my Enigma zealot :D) and maximum resists are very useful for that if you can't teleport. I skip Baal, however. He cannot really become dangerous, but it's so annoying to kill him for a zon.

The problem with the Harmony army probably is that the skeletons will disappear when you switch back to Faith. Which bow did you make it in ?

I beg to differ, Brand is a Fantastic bow for an Enchantress, or just a Strafe-a-zon. Ice is THE bow for an Ice Maiden (Fa-zon.)

Wrath sucks.

Are you talking about excess physical resist? Why would you need excess resist when decrepped?

For me, that bow would be a candidate for Passion. That runeword has great crowd control potential with a bow (monster flee, and if they don´t flee, all non-bosses WILL get blinded) as well as good damage, attack speed and a huge AR bonus.

Good point :) I still like excess resists because of conviction bosses, although it would be very hard to fully counter that aura.

Brand = No IAS for either enchatress or amazon. Especially amazon if u want to shoot fast! Brand price in runes is not worth it as faith is! OFC maybe if u play on us realms where HR costs nothing nowdays on ladder... ;)

Ice is the bow fro FA-maiden though...

Still I rank Faith as the best bow for a strafer. Rwa damage WF might be better above level 90...

Imagine how often firestorm will trigger when using phoenix on strafer ama... :D

Playing on Ladder i Rank the bows as follow not just runewords. All bows for strafer amazon! I will not list for multi ama, FA-ama, Magezon and so on cause i have no experience...
