I voted for Reaper's Toll, here is the explanation why:
- decrepify removes physical immunity 99% of the monsters (somehow there are still few unique bosses who stay PI even with decrep on, but they can be just ignored) --> PI monsters are solved
- good LL
- 33% DS
- ITD

I try to use with all my melee chars (eth) Reaper's for above reasons ... usually I try to get eth fort armor and UMed Guillaume's Face for the merc which gives a nice combo and the LL on the weap itself enough to keep them alive and make a killing machine by their own.

I voted for Doom runeword because:

-It does huge damage (if you put it into an eth item, because it's for your merc)
-It has Holy Freeze aura when equipped, this comes very handy, if you are using a might merc, and monsters get slowed down and damaged a bit, you will be a killing machine
-45% IAS, IAS is always nice :lol:
-25% OW, also nice
-Prevent monster heal, if you ever get to meet Diablo Clone it will be a godly mod :thumbsup: , I've met him once w/ my barb, and I couldnt have killed it w/h Prevent Monster Heal.

Reaper's Toll is the best! Arguments presented by others in thread. Also Bonehew is pretty ordinary...a Tomb Reaver would offer better competition.

Ok, I thought to maybe use Pride? Guess not... lol. I went out and got an Eth Reaper's last night, so we'll see if ur right when my merc gets that high of a lvl. He's currently using an eth hone sundan, for lack of a better item.

nothing wrong with a hone sundan when he needs lvlin
