View Full Version : Help Me! A very long realm down...
I haven't played since early yesterday, and I'm trying to play now and it says realm down. What is the problem and how could a realm down last this long!? Please help me!

I think realm downs can reach 24-48 hours max.
Maybe you were unlucky enough and hit the jackpot.
The only thing you can do is wait, RD should vanish eventually sooner or later.
GL
EDIT: and realm down is basically an IP ban.
EDIT2: looks like someone else had some more accurate information so your RD is apparently not your own problem.

well the whole east is on rd now.
you couldve gotten the rd yesterday, then left. then it fixed, but now theres the server rd (assuming you're on east, if not it must just be a 48 hour one or something).
o.o bad luck.
Anyone sure exactly how long the east rd will be?

no idea.
some theories: reset, ruststorm, just a random server down.
99% sure not reset since there was no announcement, i believe there was also an ingame announcement last time. and west is up also. =o
ruststorm maybe, i believe this is how the ruststorm earlier in the season went on west
but most likely just a random server down.
=o

they made a thread in bnet status forum:
"Battle.net players are unable to create Diablo II games in USEast. We are aware of this problem and are performing emergency hardware maintenance to correct this issue. We expect this issue to last no longer than 2 hours. We appreciate your patience during this downtime."
