Wats the best armor for Fury

i am stuck between Levi and Eth Carapace...whats the best armor?

We need to know the rest of your build and equipment to answer that question.. all aside though, both armors are poor choices for a wolf, he cant really use the high defense the carapace offers u and you waste the most precious asset wolves have - life, by putting str points to wear the carapace. Ditto for levi, high def and str are of no use to u, if u need pure dmg reduce, shaft is a much better choice (60 life gets boosted by lyc + oak bonuses).
Imo best armor is enigma though, u can go base str wearing it, it gives u 45% frw which is very important to a wolf since they lack mobility skills (dont count on feral rage, there isnt always a minion or a monster to charge on) and 2 skills help your AR life and damage.

I guess it would depend, but while enigma is a good choice as already mentioned, then another highly desirable choice would be an ed/str or dex mod armor of life/stability. It can really boost your damage up and the life is good, too. Really only good for pure "melee" duels, but there are others where it suffices.

i dont think that the extra 1k def justify the loss of massive str/frw/life. or 100 life and 160 ed

the def in melee. Eth valor cost 155str to equip, also provide fhr & more life. (+vita, and u will need the fhr from it) u dont really need frw in melee duels.

Enigma is the best overall. (since druid cant achieve high def like pally or barb) fort in ladder.

I would have to agree that there are much better armors then a valor, etheral or not. If you want the fhr and defence (even though the extra defence makes no difference really for a wolf) then get a stone.

right now i am using an upgraded shaft with a ber in it...its ok, but since hes level 99 i want him to have THE GODLIEST GEAR...ill tell u his stats/build and can you tell me what would work out best?

I would use 3 socted jewelers of the whale 3x40/15 max damage jewels. That would work just fine. More damage giving and life giving then a fort.

jewelers (4 sockets) armor of the whale/titan/precision/stability (depending on what you need, and what weapon you built to)

custom socketed with 120 max damage, 160ed/36 strength, 160/40min (although bugged works better than 160/60max)

you get the picture right?


if you can't afford these I would say either enigma or duress. enigma >valor for the strength (strength = ed) bonus.

definitely not jeweler armor. It doesnt do well as it does on zon, use either enigma or fort.

nah, the +2skills, fhr, def, and +vita eth valor beats stone by miles. Unless is an eth bugged stone then it would be great.

Only reason ed/min > ed/max is because base max>base min but you should never recommend these as plain 160 is still better than either.

ok valor is so useless on the druid, the + vit isnt multiplied, its heavy, and all it has is +2 skills. Iwould rather have 1000+ more life than 1000 more defense anyday. Defense is almost useless on a druid, (not so much as a wb) becasue there is no defense multipliers, so might as well soup up your druid fo its strengthes: AR/damage/speed/life

here are my top picks:

jewelers xxxx of the whale, stability with ed/str or max/max- adds about 1000+ life with lycan and oak bonuses, and the fhr you can get there lets you use other gear if you dotn need the life
^you can get most life out of this


enigma- low str= lots more life, rw= catch up to them zons faster for the faster kill (run away faster too)

fortitude- raw damage, the + life isnt multiplied by oak/lycan bonuses though

duress: bc, ow, great guerilla tactic fighting armor

i suggest you get a faster weapon a 3 ed/ias + LO grizwolds caddy (cheapest and best option)

gore rider boots
ds/ow will help alot more (there have been tests on this lots of them gores for wolves war travs for bears)

get all max/ar/life charms, get crazy damage, ar, and life all in charms (try 39 3/20/20's and an anni)

use 15% dungoes + storm shield = no need for any more dr use the sanctuary against casters

shael the jalas, then you hit the 48% fhr breakpoint and in dueling dracs are looked down upon, so use bloodfists 30% fhr, +40 life (multiplies into a few hundred) and + 9 min damage is nice too

if you use dungoes/bloods/shael jalas you git teh 3 frame hit recovery at 86% fhr.

also keep angelic rings/ammy in your stash incase you need more ar

my suggestions are for pvp, and my own experiences, i might have left a few out
