just a quick question, for everyone

where do you mf?
WHat type of char?
and what is your mf?


i run countess and pits with my hammerdin 349 mf and 25 on merc

and are the pits really the best place to mf? i have not found that much there yet

Blizzard sorceress - 565 MF (615) - Pindleskin/Mephisto

both chars SP with self-found gear

94 Blizz Sorc- Mostly Meph, a little Pindle. - Anywhere from 600-1028 MF :)
92 Hammerdin- Baal- 150ish MF
90 CE Necro Summoner -Pits and Cows - 650ish MF

Hammerdin - 90 - All bosses and the two temples in Kurast Causeway (high level areas), sometimes also going for Hephasto when bored.
Bowzon - 93 - The Pit/Flayer Jungle/Lower Kurast(chest popping)
Javazon - 91 - Cow level

EDIT: Approx. 200-300% MF on every char.

Zealot 250mf- clear every TC87 area in a run
Hammerdin 350mf, 475mf on switch WSK, both are single player characters with very minimal trading

edit, and i found a Shaefers in the pits 3 days ago :D but yeah good items there are few and far between.

Where: everywhere, essentially. I do prefer WSK/Baal, Durance/Mephisto, RoF/CS/Diablo and Catacombs/Andy for obvious reasons, but I hop around the whole D2 map. A lot of areas are lvl 80+, and lower areas can still drop great stuff...

Since I take a lot of mules to the forge, I do certain maps considerably more often than others...
All my mules get Cain as well.

Char: Skelemancer. Making a Bowazon now.

MF: somewhere 250-300 with weaponswitch. Bowazon will have next to no MF in her gear as all the slots are needed for other things :-(

L 90 meteorb sorc = mephi, andi, pindle, shenk etc

2sor use bahl bug is the best choice

1 past hell, and the second one finish act 5 but hasn't kill bahl
the first one creat game, the second one join, and kill bahl.
The drop rate will greatly increased!

Lvl 91 Hammerdin ~ 250 mfind

I do 2 kinds of runs depending on mood:

Short run: just gun straight to my targets, and don't waste time killing other minions or poping chests...

Andy
Meph
Pindle
Aproximate Time Taken: +/- 6 mins depending on dungeon's sizes

Long run: pick up and Id every possibly good item, grab all the gold, kill everything and pop all the chests

Andy and his room
Meph and Durance of Hate 3
Pindle & Friends
Baal and Worldstone Keep 2/3 and Throne Room
Pits
Countess
Cows
Forge
Very rarely - Diablo (I HATE doom knights IMing my merc...)

Aproximate Time Taken: + 30 mins

Easy enough. Just start it with a different character and go in with your old one.

If he only has one CD key he'll need to get leg/switch char/open portal/switch char in less than one minute, or wait for at least 5 minutes to be able to switch chars.

So it's better to start with the main char, do something else, get the leg, then open the portal with the opener...

i must add that i didnt find much more with my 700 mf sorc then with my 250 mf hammer...
