Ok, I was wondering...since aparently a lot of persons found good runes on Meph's trunk (the little chest, sitting in that hall behind the place meph spawns) and to me it gives nothing but magic items... What is, statisticly, the chance of poping an Ist rune or higher from it?

very very very low. (lower than that of bosses dropping high runes obviously)

i best thing i've got from that chest was a 301pd per 12 gc. while your at meph, btw you might as well check the armor and weapon rack on the left and right sides of meph. From those alone, i've gotten eth zerk and cb

Thanks for the hint, I never bother checking those....Lately I HAVE been killing the council members on the antechamber.... they're easy picking and throw up a ton of gold at the very least, wich can be used to gamble..lol

and the guys on the side can drop TC87's where meph can't

I found a LO rune from that chest some 5 months ago! :clap: I'm sure I was very lucky there! But from the thousands of Mefisto runs that was the best rune I got from the chest!

I got Ber and Ist in four runs

...died five times before I managed to actually pick up the Ist tho..
