can a smiter get gd dmg with this?

Up the hoz if you can.

change the weapon around to greif or some thing else then doom.

if ur nl then get an exile...if not do what the guy above sed :) and dont care about pplz who say exile is bm...cos they just cant take it that u own em...

but ud make a gr8 smiter...and u dont really need gcs...my smiter has life charms and it may take a bit longer to kill barbs but hes tankage like hell...

I think you need gcs, your damage suffers A LOT if you dont have gcs. A pure smiter is already really at a disadvantage with such a restricted attack. Smite only hits within melee range, doesnt do as much damage as other melee attacks (with grief it will, so that might not be an issue). But you have no ranged attacks.

w/out gcs I think youll just be a punching bag with lots of life.

not quite sure why you have the enigma in there.

iirc, ed - that on the 40/15ias - wont affect smite.

upped hoz > exile. more skills = higher holy shield + smite dam.

Charms should be your priority. As for ranged, 1pt charge + pcombats with grief usually is enough to take out the runner zons. If they dont run, smite em. Vs casters, its quite handy too.

Perhaps Ber the shako? won't require as high str as the CoA does, still a nice 18 dr.

Exiles are pretty cheap...especially if you buy a bad defense one or a plain one (w/o inherent resistances or AR/Dmg).

exiles on non west are very expensive.. ones with 40+ resist go for like 20 runes alone.

don't even discuss exile; it is not worth it to spend your time looking for its price and then to go out and buy such a crappy shield. it really doesn't fit your build.

ED outside the weapon does help smite, but IIRC it won't show on the character screen as added damage, but it does work.

Shako is better than coa, and i'd say ber it.

doom is great for werewolfs, werebears, any zon +anything that runs to you.
astreons is pretty nice otherwise.
hoz is much better than exile. i used both for a while on my smiter and hoz worked better.
my eth exile with 44 resist cost me 20 hi :rolleyes:
IMO pcombats w/ life mods>39 life gcs>pcombats
coh is a nice armor to use or a shaftstop is ok.

'gd' is the worst way to describe Anything...but oh well.
