Re-rolling Charms

anyone have a link about rerolling? just a few questions.

Pgems are used to roll? Does it matter which kind? Does one Pgem have a greater effect over others? Can rerolling be done on Ladder and Nonladder? Is it best to roll with high lvl characters.

It doesn't matter which type of pgem you use, character lvl doesn't matter, and Im pretty sure thats its NL and L.

sorry for the double post but the EDIT tool wasn't next to the REPLY. So is it best to roll baal gcs or would pindle gcs work?

If you want a shot at the highest level mods in the game you want Hell Baal charms. If you just want the best chance of getting a skiller use charms from Act 3 Nightmare difficulty - Flayer Jungle or shortly thereafter in the act. These drops are the first charms that can have skills and so are less likely to come up with some other prefix when rerolling.

Crafters will frequent trade to 2 for 1 for P Amethysts and P Rubies so you might want to hold on to those for more gems if rerolling skillers is your plan.

Any charm found in hell will work. It's not worth it to get ilvl 50 charms, because the chance to roll a skiller is almost the same. You get better suffixes with higher level charms. Pindle charms works as good as any. (Save for ilvl 90+ charms which can have the most life).
