Character level for +1 Necromancer Summoning Skill reroll

I have been rerolling like crazy but have yet to come up with that elusive charm.

I have gotten a crapload of other skill charms but not this one!

Does it have a different level than the others or have I just been ublucky!

Im level 84

You're just "unlucky" or, as I would say, you're not "unlucky" but just not "lucky". All skillers have the same chanse to roll. Me, I have 9 charms with paladin defensive auras, and just as many barb masteries (much more useful) but I have only found/rolled one of each sorc charm... ever! Lucky enough to have three summon charms, one with 36 life, and 5 poison/bone charms!

It takes approximately 22 rerolls to get a skill charm, and that skill charm has a 1/21 chance to roll as a specific skill, so generally speaking it should take you 21*22*3 = 1386 pgems to get your specific skill charm.

You'd be better off to take a skill charm you get and trade it to someone who has the specific one you need. I would keep any skill charm you get since it's usually worth a fair amount to someone who needs that skill charm. if nothing else you could get alot of pgems to try rerolling the next charm.

You could just trade one of those Combat skillers for 5 or 6 Summoning ones. People pay Um for Summoning on B.net, but HR for Paladin Combat.

don't think anyone actually answered you question....no rolling at a different lvl will not change the odds of get a skiller...charm rolling is independent of clvl...u can use your lvl 1 mule if you want

Also, no one has yet mentioned that the level of the charm matters. A charm must be dropped by a level 50 or higher monster to roll into a skiller.

It did drop from late hell so it should be ok. :)

Hmmm I thought that to get a skill charm you would have to be at level 84 or higher? Or is that just amulets....

I use a lvl 1 character to reroll charms and I've gotten skillers so character lvl is not an issue...

For crafting amulet from hell baal, and still have a chance of getting +2 skills: clvl 82
For crafting self-gambled amulet and have a slight chance(10%) of getting +2skills: clvl 88
For always having a chanse of getting +2 skills from crafting self-gambled amulet, clvl 93
For crafting amulet from boss in lvl 85 area and possibly getting +2 skills: clvl 92
For crafting amulet from normal monster in lvl 85 area and possibly getting +2 skills: clvl 96
For always being able to get +2 skills from a gamble directly: clvl 95
Amulets with the +2 skills affix will always have a clvl req of 89 or greater.

That would be 50. I think more affixes become available at ilvl 52 tho, so it's not so easy. However, the odds for a skiller is (about) 1:22 with a ilvl 50 charm, and then it decreases to (about) 1:23 with a ilvl 99 charm, so generally, people don't hunt ilvl 50 charms.

well, if the diference is that small, guess there's no point... Might answell roll a baal gc and see what I get

I'm pretty sure this is true for crafted amulets, but for rares the clvl requirement is >= 67.
