Hi, i am making a max block lightning es sorc and i was wondering if i should use a eld in my shield or a sur for more mana?

Does the 7% really help in reducing the dex? or would it be more beneficial to have a sur for more mana?

well, how much dex does the eld save you? multiply that number by 2 to get how much more mana that is. count in bo too, if you use that from cta. if its less than 50, sur is more beneficial, altho much more expensive too.

Personally the only thing I'd ever use a Sur for is Runewords and cubing Ber. Anything else seems a waste.

well, for alot of players on nl, a sur is of very little value, so it doesnt matter much if its a "waste"

Well u figure that a eld rune gives 7%, which is 14 pts into dex...i went with eld, but i dont know...

Energy Shield disregards resistances.
