Ok, so this is more of a curiosity/joke than a dangerous bug...
It happened 2 times now, I go kill hell andy with my hammerdin and merc, Andy gets in his Poison-Nova-like-attack... I slay him, go to akara to sell the loot and heal the poison, and even thought my merc is no longuer taking dmg, he's green... No matter how many times I heal he remains "visually poisoned", the only way to make him "normal" is make a new game.
Now, did this ever happened to anyone else? Anyone knows how to replicate this?
...what? it's fun... XP
I actually think this has happened to me a few times. It seems to just be a display error (like you said). If I remember correctly, mine happened on bane ash (that skeleton in the chapel place before the catacombs).
Note: Andy is a she, not a he :D
I just like to get the Merc poisoned, and bring him back to town, and see him die in town, it's fun...
Fine...so I'm an evil bastard...

It's probably a client side lag. Even though to other ppl your merc is not green. Due to lag, your merc will appear green to you.
It has happened to my char before, I dunno when to chuck a pot cause I'm always green. I'll have to ask ppl near me if I'm un-poisoned yet.

Actually I ahve had my merc green for a long time, like tens opf minutes, so I doubt lag isthe answer. It is probably a glitch wehre he is not switched back to his origional coloration scheme, nothing more.
It is not a serious bug at all.

Did you try an antidote potion? It's happened to me before where Ormus doesn't fix the poison, but a potion does.
