conspiracy or just me???

everytime i enter a duel game some smiter pally just happens to host every zon cause he can win without breaking a sweat .. happen to everyone else????

We've got to find a way to beat smiter pallys. I have never Pvp'ed, so I am no expert. But it has intrigued me. There was a thread in this forum recently about PvP, but I don't have time to find it right now (at work). Can someone else look for it? If not Iwill dig it up later from home.

I've never had any problems with smiters on NL. Just wondering are u talking about smiters on ladder with grief?

Smite = bad mannered
so
Zon = slow , knockback, lots of poison + run walk = equal grounds with a non towngaurding smiter.

i dont think any skill in the game is bad mannered. Sure there are skills like smite that dont take much talent to use. (Click and hold) Although skills such as these are relatively cheap they are skills in the game so we will just have to deal with them. If it bothers you so much that it has become intolerable than i would suggest joining dueling leages such as CH.

I agree, that skill is part of the game now and you got to accept that. Anyways it's nothing new under the sun. Smite is now what Guided/pierce was in previous patches. In short very annoying and somewhat overpowered. I have dueled with both and getting a 1,2 KO from a smiter using grief/fortitude is as annoying as was getting a 1,2 KO from one guided/piercing arrow.

I beat alot of grief smite pallys with lb. It is a 1 pt wonder. I do 2.7 k lt damage w upped titans and with kb and 50% dr, unless they have real good resists, which most of them dont, I get a lot of them.

let me just add something: what gets zons is usually the initial charge and thats what lb with kb disrupts. To smite you they have to get close to you and lb hits them EVERY time with kb and quite often wont let them do that

You are right Sunami.

I have found that using charge + any paladin melee skill will kill a zon.

haven't tryed sac and I do not plan on doing it.
