Throw barb weaps

Okay, I'm trying really hard to get my hands on Ethereal Lacerators, but NO ONE has for some reason...I'm offering my firstborn child for God sakes. I feel like I'd be screwing myself by getting non-eth's. Am I just too compulsive? Should I cave and get the non-eths? I keep telling myself an ed% jewel in my arreat's would be a quick fix, but that ALONG WITH the ethereals....*drools*

Well if the normal Lacerators aren't to pricey then go for them you can always upgrade later, when you find some ethereal ones... would be a shame wasting your time looking for ethereal ones when you could be playing with your cool new throwbarb. Although ethereal ones are definitely better, the amp should be able to up your damage output sufficiently..You could also try some Gimmershreds for massive elemental damage, and good physical too.

eh, Gimmer's piss me off cause you have to always repair...can't that AMp pierce some phys resists?

I have 3 Ists...think I can snag a pair of em with that? maybe throw in an enigma or chaos claw?

Yes amp can break some immunities, still gonna take a long time to kill anything as they still have high resistance to physical damage... The low stack size is indeed, annoying, still excellent weapons, maybe 4 of them with 2 on switch??

As for trade values I have zero knowledge... I don't play on Battle.net

Is an ethereal lacerator worth an Enigma AND a chaos claw...wow that's not really a worthwhile trade in my opinion.

I'd go with the regular lacerators.
See if you like the build first.

If you're having tons of fun, then you can always keep an eye out for an eth one or even two if you're lucky.

I have 2 eths, and 2 non eths on weapon switch.
Even with the replenish on them, I throw so fast that I still run out.

If you only have 2 eth's, you'll find yourself sitting around taking breaks every few minutes for them to replenish.

I agree with Superbit's switch idea. Replenish Quant only goes so fast... 1 in 2 or 3 seconds I think, it's pretty sad.

Well, my thoughts behind this char were running more along the lines of a hybrid...have two echoing winged knives in stash, with a good ebotdz and beast along with the Lacerators...frenzy being the skill supporting the throwing.

and i figured on just taking the ultimate barb physimmune cop out...one point in zerk, baby!
