The number of staffmods, the +bonus on the staffmods, the level you normally have to be to get that skill, superior, and elite item type all increase sell price considerably.

I expect a (extremely rare) superior elite necro head with +3 to each of three level 30 skills would cost an outrageous price to buy back.

Edit: That sounded so rude after I read it. Sorry bout that. What I mean is, my GF necro finds piles of gold bigger than the 35k max from items sold. As far as buying back from the vendor, yeah I bet that would go for a big chunk.

I remember there was some crappy rare sacred armor I sold that cost so much to buy back, not even a level 99 char can hold enough gold to buy it. Only got 35k for it too, stupid price cap.

I remembering seeing some fancy items like that, such as a war pike with Indestructible and 2+barb skills. Another is a circlet with Indestructible and lots of enhanced defence (I think it was 199%). Of course all are useless, but fancy indeed :D

(Pico)do you recall what it actually sold for? I personally hate the price cap and near the end of a act will hold on to it to sell it for more.

Holy crap.. that's a lot of money... Better win the lottery or something. I really feel that gold should matter more in this game... either decrease the amount of gold you find or up repair costs or something... gold should be more valuable, not just something you gamble with when your stash is full.

Funny, I always had the ground in town littered with piles of gold. By the end it looked like Ali Baba's cave & I was picking up all the piles to make sure they were maxed.
