I got a pretty sweet foher with a dmg of about 6k. I can beat pretty much beat all barbs, sins, zons, necros, and some sorcs. But i have a lot of trouble with windies and orb sorcs.
if anyone of you have a orb sorc or windy could u tell me how you beat a foher or tell me what you try to avoid when dueling one and it might help me become total ownage in pk games.

btw if u play NL west msg me: Wear_Protection

They fire off your screen. They're faster than you (or dead) and as such they teleport off (run) fling off an orb or ga swarm and continue running.

Tgods/Wisp projectors are also a good way to avoid your damage... Personally if I was a Orb sorc dueling a foh pala I'd probably put on a light saber just incase.

I got a Windie, gotta say that no Windie should lose to a FoH unless the FoH is amazing godly and the Windie is hideously newbish or because they made a mistake and forgot to cast Cyclone or Wolves.

Windies have 2 main things that prevent FoH from damaging them. Cyclone Armor and Wolves. When facing 5 Wolves and a Druid, it is hard to target the player since his Wolves are either ontop of him or very close to him so you either have to have execellent precision or Charge/Smite/Zeal them away. FoH is useless against Wolves because it can only kill one at a time and it takes a long time to shoot another bolt; and when you are waiting to fire another bolt, another Wolf would already be summoned by the Druid. If for some reason you get past the Wolves, Cyclone Armor can take 2-3+ FoHs' and the Druid can resummon Wolves or recast Cyclone whenever he desires.

I don't see an FoHer beating a Windy period. The only FoHer that might be able to beat a good Windy is an FoH/Hammer (Mage) hybrid.

If you mean orb sorcs with energy shield, you will probably have trouble since the es absorbs alot of your damage. Only way to beat this is increase damage.

I beat FoH pallys with my cold sorc by out teleing them :)
Keep out of the conviction range and foh does almost nothing but blizzard still does its massive damage.

Honestly i think no char should lose to a Pure templer, There soo over rated. The only thing they got going for them is convict and the can be nullified. I've lost to one Foh pally ever and he was using btals a 25/-25 3 foh scepter etc.
At most a pally can have -150+-25+-25+-5+-5 thats 310 with -100 res from hell. And that can easily be gotten 80 (15 resist wiz) + 65 (Coh) + 70 (Sanc) 20ish (Ammy) 20 (anni) 60 (kiras) Theres 315 If your a caster besides a sorc Thats 250, but u can easily squeeze 25 more from kiras 10 more from ammy. 285 and 5 5 resist scs = 310. 6000x0.25=1500
1500x0.20 = 300 damage If the pvp penalty is 1/5 im not quite sure for 1/2 it would be 1500x0.25 = 375 damage. msot cast can easily get 3k+ life so If u can tank attacks enough to get 10 shots off. But this is from my experince at dueling Templers and watching them duel.

Foh is easily negatable and Unless ur a V/t. Basically unless u jump like every other Pubby Templer than u must be pretty lucky to beat any one at all except bowzons.

I beat them with a 160 light resist shield, highlords, light resist ring and tgods on my barb.
They pretty much don't hurt much once you've stacked enough light resist and have +max resist.

Its not hard to beat them even with just 75 resist.

Well it depends on what character you use. My barb has 6k life, so he can take quite a few foh's if he negates the -res.

But something with say 1.5k life won't take THAT many 250 damage FoH's (6k/6 [pvp penalty] = 1k/4 [75%resist] = 250) and then the duel depends on whether or not you can kill him by the time he gets 6 FoH's off.
FoHers can be quite durable as well, and hard to track if played correctly (desync charging, not teleporting).

They can be somewhat durable but not enough to resist my fb sorc unless there lamers and use rising sun/spurs.
