Last night i found this sword by mephi hell.

Death Sever Legend Sword :D
2 hand dmg 189 to 360
Fast attack speed
5% chance to cast lvl 3 lightning on attack
279% ED
4 Max dmg
58 AR
8% Life Leech
10% Fire resist

I think its kinda cool for my barb, i got one using only items like this. (The full gear)
My question is, is it worth socketing and if so howmany socks can i get in it 1 or 2 ?

it sounds nice, but needs more speed so if u are going to socket it, put in a shael, and i believe u can only get 1 socket on a rare but not 100% sure

shael would be beter then 15 ias 34% ED jewel ?

Probably not...The extra 5% would probably not matter in reaching any given breakpoint... That said I would probably socket that sweet jewel into something a little bit more juicy.. Your sword is very good, but quite a few uniques are better..I have a 400% enhanced dmg +40% IAS War Club just to show an example of a rare that's better... Still your choice.

Legend Sword is a [-15], so you need an additional 20 ias to hit the final break. Because your sword doesnt have ias on it, it needs a shael. It's a nice sword if you're poor, but not very good otherwise (unless its lvl 48, then its a fairly nice mld sword ^^)

Its a nice budget sword nothing more. Id suggest trading your 34/15 jewel for a nice botd or at least a good oath bb. (That is if youre on ladder, but im sure a legit jewel like that would still be worth pretty much even on NL).

Well i think i will use it till i find something beter. I put it on a barb with only rare items. So no unique or botd or other runeword item for that guy. (its kinda fun to beat the game with him) :D

Edit: I will not sock the sword but i,m going to imbue myself some ccbs if i get a nice one i will sock that. :D
I also use some LEGIT self socket items like a 3 sock helm with some nice jewels in it. afc till i find myself a sweet rare barb helm :D

Nice find but rares in .10 can get up to 450ed!! Now if i find a rare legend with that high ed....Mr Larzuk couldn't screw up as one sock and a shael thee would make it a really rare yet sweet weapon :P
