Found a cool LLD bow, what should I do with it?

I was running the Pit in hell with my hammerdin for fun, and picked this cool little bow up:

Superior Stag Bow
7 to 13 dmg
str: 30
dex: 45
level req: 14

+3 Bow/C-Bow skills
13%ED

I'm on non-ladder. I was thinking of trying an LLD bowazon with this thing, but don't really know what kind of build/setup I should use, and what exactly to do with this bow? Zephyr runeword? Socket it with Tals/PEmeralds/Max jewels?

Tals would give 15 pd per second, for 5 seconds.
PEmeralds would give 14 pd per second, for 7 seconds.

My build will have a maxed GA, and a few points into CS/Avoide/Evade/Dodge. How many of each would be most useful?

What kind of damage will be best? Poison or physcial?

how many sockets does it have? i am assuming 2 because you mentioned zephyr.....fyi all amazon only bows can get 5 sockets ....normal/exceptional/elite...just in case it isn't already socketed...nice find btw...i always keep these just in case....i have a nice +3 melody that i use for levelling

+300% Damage To Undead
+3 To Bow and Crossbow Skills (Amazon Only)
+3 To Critical Strike (Amazon Only)
+3 To Dodge (Amazon Only)
+3 To Slow Missiles (Amazon Only)

It has zero sockets. I was thinking of using the random socket recipe, though it has a low chance of getting two sockets from it. I was thinking of Melody and Venom, but their level reqs are way too big for LLD.

You forgot one thing, superior items cant be socketed in the cube :p
And also if youre aiming for 29 lld then an Ashwood bow would be nicer. But if you just wanted to make a lld because of that bow then stick with it. Although the dmg might be somewhat low.

Ashwood with 5*max jewels is lvl 29 bow, stag bow with 5*+15max is lvl 18 bow. It's pretty nice, now you have to find at least 5*+15 max jewels, or +20max if you're rich ;)

Definately not a lvl 18. I was thinking of lvl 30 or so, and mostly because of this bow. I have some 13-15max jewels lying around, so that won't be much of a problem. Maybe I'll try this once I finish re-equipping my CS zon.

Stag bows are really only used for lvl 18's ^.^

the melody is really not good, i build a +6 Ceremonial Bow melody, even not as good as kuko until you can use faith.

to each his own i guess.....like i said before melody is a good lvling bow....for some of my builds it is the right bow to use....for others i would use a kuko....saying that melody is NO GOOD and kuko is better just leaves you open to someone coming along and saying kuko is NO GOOD use wws...btw were we not talking about runewords in this thread?


trade value would depend on the number of sockets....because the bow is superior you have to go with larzuk that means the bow is worthless because there are no usable runewords for it
