What jewel is best for Arreats? [Archive] - Diablo 3 & Diablo 2 Forums

Hi!

I have an almost perfect Arreats (198ed/6 ll) and i have 2 jewels at ny disposal to put in the helmet!

1 - jewel with Ed 40% and + 4 to energy
2 - 38 % ed and 8 to min damage

Which is better for Arreats? I'm confused cause i hear that ed/min damage jewel dont really work in helmets/armors! Is this true?

I wouldn't use the ed/min jewel in your helmet. Because the 38% ed only works on your max dmg ,and the +8 min gets added to your min dmg.

With the first jewel you get 40% ed to both min and max dmg , which results in more dmg.

Is it because it has more ed or because the other with min damage doesnt really work, cause of the bug thing?

Of those two I would have to agree the 40%ed one would be the best. I recently found a 32%ed +9 str one was thinking of using that for my wolf barb.
