I was going through the runewords and making a mental wishlist when I came across a character idea.

I looked at the Death runeword and the Destruction runeword and realized the y complimented each other enough to be used by a Frenzy Barb very effectively. Three tons of elemental effects from C2C non-withstanding, the combined 70% Crushing Blow, as well as the deadly strike effect, pretty much make this an ugly combination IMHO. If that wasn't enough, I think bucoup style points for wielding "Death and Destruction" would be in order :)

Anyone tried it yet?

Both has no weapons ias, so you would have to equip gears towards attack speed. Also, frenzy isnt an overpowered skill. Of course it would be nice to solo hell but it wouldnt do better than grief, botd or oath, which has nice attack speeds and a lot higher damage.

Destruction is amazingly useless considering the fact that it requires 4(!) high runes to make. I really havent seen any of them on realms- for a reason- it really sucks.

Most properties from weapons when dual wielded do NOT combine, rather they only affect the weapon they are listed on (examples to the contrary are auras, player stats, skills, resists, for obvious reasons.)
