Question about my dream-a-din

I have a Dreamer @ lvl 84. I have question about his weapon/s.

I'm currently using a Crescnet Moon PB.

I have the option of making a 'Death' PB for him, or using a 'Beast' zerker I already have made.

I think the CTC Gspike on the Death would be sweet with my convict I run, plus it has nice DS and CB. I'm also not sure if I should even bother making this in the 5os Phase I have, since it's already indestructable. I hate to waste a mod, but the speed on the Phase can't be beat. Is there another weap I should consider?

The Beast would let me be a WereDreamer, plus Fana/Convict/Holy Shock just seems like teh coolness...

Would either of these be a significant upgrade form the CM Phase Blade I currently use?

BTW, This is PVM.

Both would be an upgrade from CM... because convict already lowers resistances enough.

Althought i really would prefer a 40 ias grief PB + ik gloves/boots + nos coil... it grants u the 4fpa attack frame and -target defense and good damage. 4fpa is a good thing as more hits=more damage.

If u prefer to just charge everyone i would use an eth death... But the 40 ias grief IMO is ideal... besides it ups ur smite damage alot...

I don't use charge or smite, sorry, just zeal and max convict, and all the synergies for holy shock. Thanks for the input though. Anyoine else wanna' weigh in?

A beast caddy works wonders for me, only needs 12% more ias for 4 fpa, fana ups AR and gives some decent physical damage too, + u cant beat that thwack thwack sound when u hit stuff with it :)

For pvm I tend go for the pat of least repair.... IE anything that is SUPER cheap to repair and dont need to be EVERY game... OR indistructable

Id suggest selling your zerk if your not gonna pvp and get a caddy. the resell on the caddy is crap but your making this to use not to make profit.

go cheaper and use bstar. your ar will actually be better w bstar than with beast.
plus its smokin fast

bstar will never hit 4 fpa without fanat..so its not that SMOKIN fast, the repairs arent so bad at all, 75 dura on the caddy lasts a long time and all u need is to sell an armor or 2 and boom ur set.

sorry but Bstar is faster than death... by a LONG shot... and for JUST mods on the weapon it is one of the faster you can get.

and your AR is better with bstar than with beast.. Ive got a beast zerk and the ar off bstar is greater... The IAS is a bit lower ( by a breakpoint I think)

but the guy is playing pvm he can have 8fps zeal at barely any cost...

Im not saying beast isnt the better weapon but I am saying you can do just fine without spending 3+ hrs for a beast...


If you re-read I did suggest to him to get the caddy over a zerk... because its dura is greater and damage much more stable ( and he can get +skills on it )

Thanks for all the input, guys. I traded the Vex rune I had (the one I was going to use for 'death') to some pubby guy for a Grief PB last night. I think he did the trade because it was a bad roll= +342 damage. But I don't care. One HR for a grief? Suh-weet. Now my dreamer just chews through everything, there's some tasty mods on that Grief. Combined with Duress and my Dreams with lvl 23 convict... Muhahahaha.
