Hi if any one can help with these I'd be grateful..

I'm thinking of a 2 weapon barb using axes. I am worried about IM and physical immunes.

I think a fun way to deal with them both would be to have throwing axes on switch - I have the unique axe glimmer whatsit and melee or throw them as appropriate.

Alternatively I thought of a spear or polearm merc with javelins on switch.

So does throwing weapon mastery apply if you melee with throwing weapons (I don't think so)) - looks to me to work only if you actually throw.

Does Axe Mastry work when you melee with throwing axes (I thought it did?)or indeed does Polearm Mastry work if you melee with javelins?

I think I'm right in saying that neither axe mastery nor Polearm Mastery affect thrown weapons?

Thanks for your help.

I know this isn't what you wanted to hear but... put 1 point in beserk and use it as your main skill when your IM'ed.

You are right. :D Anything but Throwing Mastery only works when you melee it...and Throwing only applies when you throw the weapon. If you're not following any particular build, maybe you could put 10-15 points into axe and throwing, so you'd have a viable attack in either case?

Thanks for the replies.

The 1 point of beserk is ther ight way to go - but having some kind of ranged is useful - i paly single player and the FE and FE/LE bug is preety lethal as well.

So just to be certain Axe mastery doesn't work with Throwing Axes even in melee?

Splitting point sisnt a bad idea - need to do some planing!

Axe Mastery works with throwing axes when you melee with them.

Throwing mastery works with throwing axes when you throw them.
