View Full Version : Facet Question
Is it worth the extra cash [so to speak] to get a Die Facet over a Level? In PvP, is Facet[ Lightning, in this case] damage on death worth the extra Ist[s]?

well i think that all death facets are not really helpful to get the last kill unless theyre really low life. i also think you dont have the fealing of accomplishment of killing him when , you yourself, have also died in the pk.
-fire facets - the death is useless as it takes time for a meteor to drop (although i have seen stupid pkers still die after a falling meteor)
-cold facets - blizzard kinda helps but personally i never die to the facets blizzard or i just tele quickly out of it.
-Poison facets - poison facets have never killed me because i think they only make you go to 1 life ( this has happened to me before )
-lightning facets - personally i think lightning facets will do the most damage once you have died. i seriously dont think this is worth the cost seeing as lightning facets are the most expensive.
Overall i think that the death quality in facets is overexaggerated. i mean... isn't the whole point of the facets to up your attack or lower enemy resist so you can win the duel?(without getting killed yourself) To recap on your question, I wouldn't go the xtra ist for a die.

Most of these die facets arnt that useful as they rarely kill. I don't find any point in killing the guy afterwards if you already lost. It'll be a good reason to do that in HC though. :)
it's all about
1) people judgind you based on your gear
2) the person you evntually trade the facteted item to complaining about it not being die
don't pay attention to it unless it's blizz or poison, it deson't make any kind of difference that won't equalize eventually
i personally give rats ***^^
if die is valued higher than lvl , i'd go with as many as possible level facets. dont really see a point in getting a kill after you died
