Is anyone planning to buy Guild Wars? I think I am going to. It sounds like a cool game. I played it last fall on one of the demo or beta test weekends and it looked very nice. Besides, the GW community here talked me into it.
How about Elder Scrolls: Oblivion? Are you going to buy that? I definately will be. I love Morrowind and cannot wait for this to come out. Although I have to wait for several months.

No, I personally do not plan to buy those games. I do have to admit that GW looked pretty good when I tried the demo. The beginning reminded me of Sims :D
Too bad my computer can't handle to run the game properly. Well, I guess Diablo and Planescape Tourment will have to do...

Come try some authentic Aussie summer 40+ degrees celsius and 90+ humidity. well boy howdy is it fun having to cram a car full of people without air con. then of course when you reach your destination you have to peel yourself off everyone else.

If it would just stay 65 - 70 degrees F the whole year round I'd be one happy man. As it is Autum is my favorite season, not too cold and not too hot.
Spring - Starts getting hot and allergies begin kicking my butt.
Summer - Too friggin' hot.
Winter - Its alright. But I live in the southeastern United States, and some of the people here have never seen snow in their life. And when it does snow people go into a panic and the stores are sold out of batteries, candles, and dry food within a matter of seconds.
And to the person who said Halloween sucks. Quiet! Halloween is cool! :(

I, for one, will not ever be buying a pay to play video game. Xbox live is OK, because its a service for a lot of games, but I won't ever pay a monthly bill for a single online game. Guild Wars looks sweet and I may get it if they make a version that will run on my eMac. I'm also praying for Diablo3 or Starcraft2. I don't care which one, just one of them. Now, please...
I'm 24 and have a real job, so winter and spring breaks hold no water with me. Autumn is the best. Nice middle of the road temperatures, and it has Thanksgiving and Halloween, which are two awesome Holidays.
I could die happy if they ever decided to make Starcraft2. Just imagining a fleet of Carriers bringing down their wrath in 3D makes me all giddy.
Are they still working on Starcraft Ghost or have they just given up on that entirely?

That's because pallys are too serious about life. It's all about study, not drinking. Sword play is a religious experience for them. We shoot bows here for fun and watch the patrons scatter like bugs!

I'll have some of that stuff (yager or jager? I can't remember how its spelled). It tastes like licorice and has about 10 times more alcohol than anything I've ever had.

The Necros seem to be pretty busy, but even though I play them I don't post there very often. I'm a zon at heart. I like shooting things, but using a gun (like in so many other putor/vid games) turns me off.

I had two soccer games today for my kids. It was so cold. The wind made it feel like about 15 F. I am a coach and we almost canceled the games. But we played on! Hopefully, spring comes back soon.

Well lets see if we can perform some CPR here. I saw Star Wars yesterday, loved it. It's clearly the best of the new films, in fact I think it's the second best Star Wars ever. Empire is still my fav though. Actually the two films are rather similar.

omg...revenge of the sith was good, but i still like return of the jedi...i think id rather watch all 3 of the old ones before the new ones...classics are always better.
I think i'm the only person who couldn't stand Episode 3 nearly as much as Ep 1 & 2. I literally felt sick at the end. i'd give it maybe 2/5.
Boobies would of pushed it up to the 3/5 mark.

i thought he may be using a pen name too....most of his writing is ancedotal... first published in small town newspapers/magazines...some of his stuff has been reprinted in the saturday evening post
i tried unsuccessfully to dig up some info on him several years ago and just kept hitting roadblocks
Continuing a discussion that started in another thread (http://forums.diabloii.net/showthread.php?p=3623118#post3623118), I did not have to look up the name of the villian from Caves of Androzani. I have a very good memory of Dr Who. I have them all on tape or DVD and have watched them numerous times.
All episodes (or close, there were over 150 titles comprising of over 750 episodes) are available on video or DVD in the States. There are new shows that were just aired on BBC1, and not shown in the States yet, although CBC is showing them in Canada. Can someone from Canada tape them for me? Is it a violation of copyright laws to ask someone to tape something for you?

It used to be on PBS, channel 11 in Chicago. We used to have 3 or 4 friends gather each Sunday night in my backyard. We brought out a TV and watched it while eating and drinking outside. Those were fun times.

All episodes (or close, there were over 150 titles comprising of over 750 episodes) are available on video or DVD in the States. There are new shows that were just aired on BBC1, and not shown in the States yet, although CBC is showing them in Canada. Can someone from Canada tape them for me? Is it a violation of copyright laws to ask someone to tape something for you?

I once swallowed a piece of hard candy. It became stuck in my throat, but below the air passages, so I could still breathe. It just stuck there, though, and it hurt! I drank warm water until it melted enough to go down. That was horrible.

i have been here alot longer than it shows on my join date.....after the last big crash i was content for awhile just to read the posts....i couldn't even guess what my total post count is over the years
in all that time i have never been wacked once...not for lack of trying sometimes....yes i probably deserved it once or twice....i have all the respect in the world for those members that come here and are successful in getting a ban on their very 1st post...that takes talent.

i am just going for elders scroll oblivion, i have played morrowind like billion times and now it is time for something new, and oblivion seems to me the perfect game.
Last game i bougt was Guildwars and i have to say that guildwars is a very nice game, but i can't play it like morrowind or diablo 2, those games you can play over and over again.
I am also thinking about Advent Rising. Anyone have it?
I couldn't get into morrowwind. got it for $40 along with tribunal and bloodmoon. might have to try again one day.

That's what I hate about those things. Give me one that takes regular alkaline batteries, not these US$65 batteries you have to recharge and they need to be replaced after a year.
I would love to have a mini DVD player.
