hey, i've been dueling with a bliz sorc...i always win, but people say i'm newb...y? i havn't seen ne1 else dueling with a bliz sorc, so am i the only one, or one of the few that has thought to make a bliz sorc?
and one more thing, whats a cold GC worth?

Sounds to me like alot of pvp builds out there; Hammerdins, trappers, Fb sorces, Orb sorces, PnB Necros, etc...all the seem to do is tele around and hope that their spell hits the other person.

i was talking about blizz sorcs that just tele away from their opponent leaving behind a trail of blizzards and hoping that their oppenent is dumb enough to chase him and run into a blizz

Surprisingly that strategy does work well. Of course, not against Wind Druids or Barbs. But my friend always played offensive against my bone necro instead of running away and leaving a trail of blizzards or just sitting in his own blizzard all day. If your opponent isn't using absorb, you can kill them with one good blizzard or one or two good fireball.

Maybe an ES/Blizz sorc can tank well? But the dmg output would be quite low.

good blizzard sorcs are rare so if you kill someone with one they might be confused? then they get mad and call you a noob

Every character class has its weakness. I have a godly orber and win all the time so it gets boring so I play my other duelers. No chr class is newb. Sure there are some classes that are stronger then others yet they all can be beat. The people that complain newb are idiots and those are usually the people that do not really understand the game or they would just stop crying and make one themselves. As for your blizzard sorcy they can be beat and if people keep getting hit by blizzard and can not win tell them to just stop running into it. All they have to do is predict your movement, snipe a little and run before the blizzard comes.

I agree. The people that call you a newb, are most likely the people that don't understand character classes and skills. Or they jus don't know how to duel. You will find a lot of ppl in pub pvp games that will call you a newb just because they jus dont understand. In pub games there are they NK's and the town guards etc... So my suggestion is to try to find some good pvp ppl that like to do private duels and have some fun with them. Those are most likely the ppl that know how to duel and have fun with it. Rather than call you a newb because you are owning them >.<

My orb/meteor sorc (For Mfing) kept losing to my friends ww ik barb, until I got my merc an insight polearm, andy mask, and eth fort armor (I actually found a Lo rune).

I teleported beside him, and my merc killed him in two hits. :D

I remember having a necro with really high quality stuff... He was my fave... level 46 skills with almost all maxed synergies.. you get the point.

Although my necro WAS wearing enigma I never used to teleport in duels, never unless there was another non-originally-teleporting character that really got on my nerves by teleporting all the time, and that rarely happened.

I also used to tank with my necro. I couldn't stop laughing at ww barbs who tele'd an ww'd at me while i blocked 3/4 of their attacks and did not take any damage until my bone armor was broken, and if they managed to break my bone armor, they were already dead ;p

A really good BvC barb killed me with one good ww, went past my 3/4 block and bone armor. That's why I never tank Wind Druids and Barbs.

He probably had tons of life and managed to do many hits at you at once, in my case they were dead after doing about 2 whirlwinds.

I agree with some of you other guys here,
that each class is pretty much balanced when it comes to dueling

the good duelers, well they won`t bother with idiot nking and towncamping

idiots are the ones that don`t know how to duel with the best gear, call you a novice cos you don`t buy your gear from ebay, and they never win a duel against you while you are using even crap-average gear.

I always say, if you can`t duel with crap items what makes you think you can duel with the best items?

you will notice that the quality of duelers in hc is alot higher than the ones in softcore.

Anyway I am thinking of taking up D2 after I finish traveling; who knows i might see you around in a duel.

am i alone? i have godly fball sorc who does 187k damage meteor and sixteen thousand life and i kill tal rasha set sorcs and IK barbs and they say wtf noob when they die. maybe i am the only one who plays fball sorc because everyone is so confused why they die to 187k damage meteor. i surprise them because i tank them cause 1 meteor kills everything.

i am so sick of those stuck up people on d2 who town guard and nk even though i never get killed as u can see and the only time i got killed was when some guy AA'ed me with his hacked battle orders and halved my life four times. but then of course i owned him with fire bolt while naked because he has no skill.

and i have 75 block and max dr and eshield and i can tank twelve barbs at the same time and win even if they use dwarf star!! but haha those newbs always aa whirlwind and BO and cry when they lose.

im so godly.

are u sure that this char is on realm? b/c a sorc who has 16k life along w/ maxed block doesnt seem very possible to me unless u use cta.

also no offense but i dont think that u can tank 12 barbs b/c the game can only support 8 characters at a time. and dwar star isnt the best fire absorb item. if someone had max fire resist and and item like rising star amy, im pretty sure they can survive a few of meteors.

When it comes to manners, hc duelers are worse. And also, they chicken hack so it's impossible to get a kill unless you get a one hit Kill.
