Sorry to go OT, but random pet peeve...
Ironman and level-to-9-then-duel are two different things ><
Ironman is trying to see how far you can get without going to town, I don't care that level-to-9-then-duel is what the concept has turned into as a general understanding, that doesn't make it right ><.
Also, are holy fire/poison allowed then?

i would also advise against skulls. that was the one thing i abused the last time i joined one of these
I will not ban skulls for the shear fact it is almost impossible to get enough to replenish faster then get dmg'd unless you get insanely lucky. If you get that lucky then you deserve it.

hit and run is a good technique when you have skulls (it isnt against the rules to take as long as you want)
yeah it was me and you in the finals, you beat me because of that.
Skulls, or any replenish, should be banned. As xey said, you can just run until your health is full.
Ok i will now ban the use of skulls due to over rule..there will be no use of replenish life in ammy's ring's belts or any piece of equipment at all. Anything acting of the use of prayer is banned. Now may i get some suggestions on the actual league and some signups :-)

How would that be policed?

trading x2 with dueler before it goes out of town:
trade 1: the inventory + fillers (high level judge has enough spears/whatever to completely fill duelers inventory minus some charms he/she has managed to find)
trade 2: the rest of his/her items
We could police it like xeyloderized has said or we can go simply on trust since we know most of the people at these forums are legit. Some might go at hard length's to get a prize though so we will see.
few things as per my experiences in ironmans
replen - bad
summon druids - cookie cutter
holy fire/psn - i dunno about the general public here but i dont like the idea
of a build that can just spend its "duel" running away. On the
same token (sp) if you're gonna disallow prayer you should
probably consider holy fire, same skill just off vs def.
1 on 1 sometimes, but the FFA aspect of lvling to 9 with your party then being able to fight them all is key I think.
Cloisters is a good idea thats what we did.
Decide early whether shopping will be allowed.
Decide early whether trading will be allowed.
Attempt to reach imbue as a party so everyone can imbue 1 item to kind of make it more interesting.
I personally have no problem with the use of mana pots for a sorc, but then how would u police them for everyone else. so if you're doing no healing i'd limit the use of mana pots to 1 belt per person.
i think thats all for now i'll post if i remember anything else
cheers
I agree with azz on tha mana potions. -- new rule potions can only be held in belt not inventory. Summon druids holy fire and psn will still be allowed, they are very very beatable if you play them right i have done about 7 ironmans in the last 5 days and it seems the real winner is a kicksin - bash barb . Holy fire pally's and summon druids cant run forever as you can only use as many potions as you can fit in your belt.
EDIT: In all my ironmans we tryed to reach imbue but were too weak--or were already lvl 9 before barracks.
