View Full Version : Godly Trap Claw Possible?

Hey all, I've been searching for +3 traps +3 Wake of fire or Lightning Sentry claws, and haven't found any yet. I was just wondering if these were possible at all? I've been buying claws from Anya, and so far I've gotten about 4 +3 Trap claws, but I've seen nothing anywhere close to what I really really want. Am I looking for an item that doesn't exist/can't exist?

Indeed they do exist. They're extremely infrequent, and I'm sure anya would ask an arm and a leg for it, but just the other day I saw a magic claw that had +3 to traps, +3 light sentry, and +1 to dragon flight (Mind you, to trade for it as well is expensive: this claw is being offered on the bnet forums in escl for a crazy amount of runes).

Best Trap Claws' that you can get are +2 Asn + 3 Sentry with 2 os or +3 Trap + 3 Sentry with 2 os. If you do find something like this, it'd go for a lot.

You might try cubing one, though this may take just as long.
Use the "three flawless gems + 1 blue item = new socketed blue item" recipe for the Cube. Note that you can continually reroll using the same claw, even though it now has sockets. I'd use a really high level claw.

And you would prolly need less gems for cubing 3 trapskillers/40 life than for these mods on claws... cubing a lot of other precious skillers and other GCs btw.
