We finished hell last night and next monday shall see a new team. Some of our members will continue, other will stop.

We play Mondays and Wednesdays between 8:00-10:00 pm CET. We do this untwinked and do all quests and get all WP’s (Halls of pain is optional).

That suites me perfect as I just restarted from a long break from Diablo for about 4 months. :D
And I have some experience in these kinds of Teams as me and an old friend (sholapin) started the first GAT team and came up with the name (Green *** Team) as we were only a Paladin team with one exception a Singer barb.
Hopefully I can join your team.

Of course i want the spot det, I'd love to have a char that is able to mf on its own afterwards but would still be of use in the KTA nights. Say... MeteOrb?

Sorry Mate...
CET is Central European Time and i guess PST is Pacific Standard Time.
This means that 8:00pm-10:00 pm CET = 11:00am-1:00 pm PST
So if you don’t have the opportunity to take an extra long lunch break I think there’s going to be some trouble playing with us.

Anyhow..Aerath commited himself online to play a Smiter and IIRC Sweet_Shadow said she won't attend. I am also pretty sure that Schanf won't play again because she will dedicate all her time to WoW.
So we need to let this simmer again until we have a definite "yes" or "no" from Syxx...
I wouldnt have any problems with catching up on my own time if you guys allowed me coming a little late. I totally understand if you would like someone who can be there the full time with you guys though. I just wanted to find out if it was possible because most of the East/West teams play at times when id be at work.

You sure on no Shadow, Det ? Shadow Master is pretty darn useful, and I was running around with just the basic 1 skill invested (rest from +skills).

Freezin - CET indeed equals GMT+1 (so for you it'd be 7 PM till 9 PM)
NorCal - try the Europe server first... we've had a few Americans before, and most of them lagged out, if I recall correctly. (That, or the time difference became a problem.)

I don't see the basic rules changing:
No hacks (MH, Chicken, etc.)
Untwinked
All quests (not kill all monsters) and wps (I think we skipped norm/NM Nihaltak?)
Can play outside to level merc, catch up lvls, etc.
Can't run Meph, Pindle, etc over and over outside of group
Repeated Baal runs as group ok
Like to have a diverse group with a couple "odd" builds

Hi all,
I can make the times specified and prefer playing summoner types (necros or druids). However, as this is about trying something new as well, I would be happy to make any character that fits in well with the rest of the team.
What about a poison amazon (or necro) ? A were bear ?

Remeber that Old members have spot reserved if they want to and for new members its comes first serves first.... Right now we are nine but there is always someone dropping out in the beginning isn't it.
Most of these builds can hold their own in Hell but they are not uber and absolutely not godly untwinked. As a Elementalist you can focus on one element whitout worries about the immunities, because there shoud always be someone else in the group able to handle that :).
Of course everybody can try odd builds or just straight ones. I had my fill with the odd ones..some of them proved quiet okay, who would have thought a Fissue/Volcanoe Druid wouldn't be THAT bad.
Poison Necro/zon we (I) tried and it usually takes a VERY long time to effect anything...but everybody is welcome to play one of course.
That said...if you wanna be a hammerdin, be it. We had one in our 7.0 team..and he was neither taking the kills from anybody else, nor was he "uber". (In fact he diesd twice :) ). And Magic damage is always helpful....and Conviction also.
Oh..I just noticed: No Barb and the Summoning Druid is No 9 on our list...? Aren't we overdoing the odd build party :) ?
Aerath...yeah..I was actually considering that 1 base point in SM after all...

Syxx....are you enlisted at GAT? Need a server suggestion where some ppl we know from the forums are? Here goes:
A few play Horde on Earthen Ring (me included). Its a RPG server.
Some more even play Alliance on Zenebar (I am there as well). Its a PvP server.
If you rather play PvE I am pretty alone on Dragonblight with a Nightelf.
We have tried Shadowmoon and Bloodscalp but they are hopelessly overpopulated :(
I could play a Barbarian instead of a bowazon for some BO. :D

Yup, though I don't mind the catching up a bit, the leveling merc part nor the multiple runnings of the Countess/Andy etc etc... (Not talking about 10k runs on Hell Meph :P)

We could set a narrow lvl limit after every session.
Whatever you do..I will strictly play the 2 hours Monday and Wednesday. No outside levelling for me...youknowwhy ;)
Oh..and the server (english one) is Zenedar for WoW. Could be that many players from GAT are now moving there. As far as I see it, Jedi, Repoarto, Kev, Biquette are at least there already. The problem will still be level difference in the end..even if we are on one server.
The other problem is that it looks like all races and classes promise big fun. Seen the Dwarfen mountains, the elven forests and the Undead Crypts..and tested the starting levels for Warlocks, Rogues, Druids and Priests. They all have fun aspects :)

Lets see about that :) I never thought I would lose interest in LOD so fast. Didn't hesitate a second to give away my MAL rune. :)

those graphic fireworks, and actually only the lighting, is all that doom3 is. its a tube run which tries to be scary but fails miserably -.- not worth the 50 euros.
and WoW is just temporary, D2 is like AIDS... ;) you can try to live without it but there are times when it reminds of its presence and you have to come back to take care of it :)

It is a nice change from LOD...amazing that we were still hooked by LOD after 4 years, so the change is not that surprising. Must be the Blizzard magic. But it is very different from LOD. More careful play. 2 monsters that are your level attacking you can get you killed :)

Oh yes..name restrictions:
Every name should have a KTA tag. My trapper is KTA_Bloodmoon.
We now have 9 players on our list, Racoontje would be No.10, but of course only the first 8 can play. And we have given old KTA members a chance to reserve their spot until Friday (awaiting mail from one player)
All I can suggest is that we will meet at 19:55 CET on monday 7th March in Channel KTA. If 8 ppl show up, these 8 will play. If 10 show up, the "first applied, first served" rule would apply. (not first show up, but first apply here in thread)

ya the whole gib items thing never yields positive responses here as of late. its not that were not kind, its just that most people will have more fun just playing the game and mf/trading for the items themselves. that way also produces a more skilled, well rounded player.
back on point: keep up the good gaming kta!! i enjoy reading the stories while stranded at work. if i had more time, i would be really interested in this group. alas....there is always kta v11.0.... :lol:

As stated earlier we do not alow twinking during the KTA season. When we have reached our Guardianship we may do whatever we want with our chars. Just to point that out if you wanted to participate with your crier.

When is first meeting? Please post all times in BNet time (GMT), so everyone knows when we're supposed to be playing.
I'm sorry, you will have to figure that out yourself...our meeting/starting time is 20:00 CET and we play until 22:00 CET.,,,whatever that is in GMT. (maybe -1? not sure)

If you want to play a boxing barb, feel free to. I wouldn't advise it but that's beside the point ;)
Seems like Fire Damage is lacking a bit... Might want to make it a MeteOrb sorc if you keep going with that.

Det : Lightning and some Fire (It's possible to get a decent damage of fire with a Sin, but it's not -that- effective)
zt0 : Probably physical or magic

Freezin : Physical maybe some magic. CE

I've been wanting to make a HC melee sorc (with enchant) for some time, that'd cover fire well if we have lots of tanks, but again, I'm at the end of the list :)
(just hoping for one more dropout) :rolleyes: :D
The skellies of the planned summoner should love enchant and Fanaticism :)
Maybe one sorc could add a decent amount of Static...THE biggest HP reducer in the game.
KTA_ZooMaster/Druid summoner = waflob = waflob2
(think I got that the right way round)
Following the 'lack of fire' thoughts, I could use the char as a fire bear, or elemental druid. Prefer the fire bear, plus a bit of stomping for stunning the monsters. Also, the fire skills are synergies for fire claws, so it doesn't have to be pure bear - could use the fire skills as well.
Any ideas ?

My build will be 1 in each of the passive skills, max FA and try to max the fire skills. So we do have fire elemental skills. :D My goal is a -10 elite Harmony bow.

Perhaps a hammerdin? Concentration should help those skellies, too.
Usually everybody plays what they feel like. Maybe a character they have never played before...or one that wouldn't be viable when playing alone.
So you decide what you want to play. We just try and keep a mutual agreement that the party stays balanced (so not 7 Winddruids for example).
Take a look at what we have...then decide what fits the group or your style. Not good if we tell you what to play and you hate it :)
My FireDruid was okay last time round, but the casting delay got on my nerves. Since I also play a lot of WoW these days I wanted a comfortable, safe, easy to play, spammable character. That's my trapper :)

I've realized on friday, that I almost forgot about a concert I'd like to see - and yes, it's on monday :/ So it looks like I won't be at the very beginning of KTA 10, but i'll level my pally up to lvl 15 or so, and will catch up with you on wednesday.
Better be a good band... like the Mastodon gig I attended today ! :D
Fireclaws bear works really well. Had one a couple KTAs ago and had great fun with him. Sturdy, good damage and good life.

Yes it went smooth indead. Hope that we next game get some barb helms instread of all those necro shields. ;)
Also I would like you all to keep crappy jewels we find so we can craft equipment when we get the runes. Myself need some blood crafted things. :)
I´ll go One-handed Axe / Shield. Hopefully get a nice Berserker axe in the end.

Yes...can't mention this enough. At the start (I know we are all short of money) we should rather drop all unwanted rings and ammys to cube them in act 2. Same with class specific items.
Rather ask first before selling and someone has to re-buy them.
Will get better once we can run S/E and have mor 10-25 K gold items to sell

just to let you know that I won't be able to make tonight (sorry). There's a parent evening at school. This may be hard for you to believe, but I'd much rather play D2 with you guys !!
If someone can post the progress, then I'll catch up before next Monday. You never know, it may finish early and I'll be able to join in later, but previous experience in these matters isn't good.
