I now those unique wyrmhide boots doesn't exist but what does and what doesn't?
I have never seen this item on b.net:
Throw Damage: (69-80) To (117-136) (93-108 Avg)
One-Hand Damage: (81-94) To (105-122) (93-108 Avg)
Required Level: 75
Required Strength: 45
Required Dexterity: 142
Base Weapon Speed: [-20]
Max Stack: (200)
+200-250% Enhanced Damage (varies)
50% Deadly Strike
+30% Increased Attack Speed
Piercing Attack [50]
25% Chance To Cast Level 9 Nova On Striking
Replenishes Quantity [1 in 3 sec.]
(Ladder Only)
(Only Spawns In Patch 1.10 or later)

though I'm thinking on using this item on a barb, but before I even look for it, it would be nice to know if it exist or not :P
aren't there a list somewhere where they've listed what items that exist, and what items that don't?

All items listed on the AS exist, the rest does not. You forgot to copy the name of the unique, which is Warshrike btw. It exists, but is only used occasionally by throwbarbs, so it is rare to see.

doh hehe sorry for forgetting the name :P what's the AS? I though it was the arritibutes screen :D

In this case it means Arreat Summit, I guess, although in another thread of today, RTB meant attribute screen ;)

These wyrmhide boots are called Merman's Sprocket - see here (http://diabloii.net/items/v110/eliteuniqueboots.shtml) for their stats. They haven't been added to the final 1.10 patch. They might have existed in the 1.10 beta, but I'm not sure, as I didn't try the beta.

oh yeah forgot to ask how you know what items that can spawn eth? I have heard not all items can spawn ethereal :) but I don't know which that can.

Indestructible ones can't spawn eth.

hmm okay, so I guess all throwing weapons can be ethereal since they don't have durability, so they can't be indestructible?

Throwing weapons can be ethereal, including those which replenish automatically.

Bows and crossbows cannot be ethereal.

Set items cannot be ethereal.

Indestructible items cannot be ethereal, except those uniques which are always ethereal, like Ethereal Edge, for example.

Auto-repairing items can be ethereal.

I never use AS for that, it's called the LCS (Lying Character Screen). :p

They were either pre-beta, or only a figment of someone's imagination at Blizzard.

Does this mean I can stop looking for Stormshield, Grandfather, Butcher's Pupil, Doombringer, Crown Of Ages, and the likes (items that can be ethereal if they are not unique or set) for my ethereal grail??

I knew unique phase blades couldn't be ethereal (except if you upgrade Ginther's Rift) but no eth grandfather.... :( that was disappointing.

Hmm, I remember that I didn't know what you meant with AS in that case. It was something about damage and synergies - ah, yes, here (http://www.rpgforums.net/showthread.php?t=318959). I admit that now that I know what you meant, Arreat Summit makes more sense there :)

Lazy_BerZerker: Blizzard is well-known for the originality of their items. You should see the translation of Buriza-do-Kyanon and Crainte Vomir.

helvete: Yes, since they just can't be ethereal.

krischan: The posts by helvete in that same topic definatly gave away that it was about a certain website...
