View Full Version : pvm ma assasin?
I was hoping someone here who has experience with ma assasins could help me.
Assuming i can get perfect gear is it a viable build , I play only pvm.
When I say ma i mean charge attacks not kicking .
Since i dont see a guild here i hope u can help me with gear selection too.
thank you in advance.

Yeah man, if you have any questions, let me know.
It's really hard to decide on good gear for this build, simply because it is a melee character doing elemental damage, so you have to find the right balance of + skills (your damage output) and damage reduction, resistance, faster hit recovery, and attack speed.
I figured that the attack speed with the claw attacks are always quite slow without BoS, so I would recommend using that. Its not hard to make up resistances and DR with your gear. I think I was pondering something like this at one point:
Crown of Ages + BER + BER (Tons of DR, skill level, FHR, Resists, and good looks!)
Bartucs + JAH (helps with attack rating loss)
Jade Talon + JAH (helps with attack rating loss)
Chains of Honor (huge resists, DR, str, and a little MF!)
+2 MA/20IAS gloves + Mana Leech (I actually had a pair once...so nice...)
Verdungo's (will cap out your DR with CoA and CoH, and has some good life and FHR)
Shadow Dancers (tons of dex, and good Shad skills to help with Weapon Block)
You COULD go Claw/Shield with this build, but you'll be a lot slower at collecting charges. Just my two cents.
