it all depends on gear and the player playing the char.
but i voted for droods: melee,summons and elemental skills <-- what more do u need :D

It ain't going to stop and you know it, when someones' thread ends up on the second page, someone aka you always' makes a new one and it keeps going and going and going and going and going and going and going and going and going and going no matter what you do. So, it doesn't help the situation we have but only makes it go downhill.

arg, if that's how you feel, then ignore this thread. numbers don't lie, so i figure using them can give us a general opinion. just trying an approach that speaks without so many pointless arguments (like this one)

What's not to like about endless geek ranting about which class is more s3x0r in Diablo II?

I don't even know why there's a poll though. It's not like we all don't know it's necros, aside from those clumsy thickwitted barbs I so enjoy watching kill themselves on my clay golem because they can't seem to figure out that IM's effect works in full against minions.

Actually I just like Necros. I'm guessing Grief Smiter/Chargers and Infinity Cold Sorcs are probably the most unbalanced duellers in the game right now.

well anyways, i voted fopr sins, cause the first crazy l33t player i dueled was a ww/trap hybrid. I remember always fearing a good windy or bowozon though.

Well personally I prefer barbarians, maybe thats cause I well think like one, but I'd guess they really don't do much thinking, anywho, people will all say there is no best class or there is one, it really all comes down to player preference and what they like to do. Some like to beat the hell out of stuff with a sword some like to sit back and let spells do it, and well there are those that are in between, and guess what Diablo 2 gives you all of those. But there is the other side of the coin and really there are those combinations that are hard to beat. It seems like duals can be much like rock paper sissors between different build types.
