What kind of socketable claws should I keep?

Hi guys, first of all, I really am not into assassins. The thing is, I keep finding superior elite claws with what seem to be good mods. Now which mods, + skills should I look for? I understand people will look for 0/3 sockets claws, but what 'type' of claws are important, any elite ones?

The point is, I wouldn't want to throw away a perfectly runewordable sin weapon.

Suywayah and Runic Talons are the ones most people want. Although others will be used if the +skills are exceptional.

In general you want the following:

+ Dragonflight
+ Mind Blast
+ Weapon Block

Others that people look for are

+ Venom
+ Shadow Master
+ Claw Mastery
+ Wake of Fire/Lightning Sentry

Get one with a good combination of teh above in Suwayah and you get a great claw.

I used a Wrist spike for my chaos (less damage same speed) because it had +3 DF, +3 MB and +1 WoF, to good to turn down IMO.

If you can get these skills in socketable claws keep them.

fade
lightning sentry
death sentry

are all good ones to keep aswell.

i agree. suws are definitely the most popular. im currently lookin for a 3os suw with +claw mastery +death sentry +venom

if u have one ill trade for it (ladder USeast)

Also, Sup with %ED is very nice... If you can got an Ohm to spare for a Chaos, deff try to make it in a superior one (mine was only a +5% but its deffinately better than no %)!

D flight and mind blast have always been a fave of mine, though i haven't yet made a ww sin lol

Suwayyah's are definately NOT the most popular these days. Feral Claws and Runic Talons are most popular, and the most popular mod is +3 venom.

So, is this 3os War Fist I found worth anything? I was thinking of making a Blade Fury 'sin (it would be my first) but I don't know anything about them.

There are 9 upgrade recipes:

4 for uniques
4 for rares
1 for low quality white items

of these none give you the option for runeword.

The low quality one is interesting though and should be looked into if you plan on making runewords with low tier staffmods (such as claw mastery). the only way to get +3 clawmastery with a white/grey claw is by using this recipe.

I can explain the details further if you need me to otherwise just read my guide in the SPF.

They must not be Warfists, then. I can't remeber what they are, but they're exceptional and have the skills I mentiuoned above.

Well the skills aren't too good for a fury or chaos claw. Also, if it's only an exceptional claw the damage will be too low, but I think you may have meant to say elite.
