View Full Version : ultime baaling team?

hi, i know this being posted several times, but i still want to know you guys opinions about the ultimate baaling team, and tell my opinion about what would be the really-beast (dont think about realm down) just the most efficient baal team (would be efficient in any other part of the game also)

so lets start.

player 1: hammerdin with 10 combat charms, using lvl 25 convic, i know merc can now have convic, but only lvl 12, thus not removing lister fire immunity.

player 2: hammerdin with 10 offencive charms, using conc (duh!). i know with 10 combat charms u can get like 15k damage (16k maby dont remember), but with an aura that got 10 offence gc, the player 1 hammers would prolly be around 20k, and this paladin would still have really decent hammers (around 13k?).

so the first 2 players are the main tank of the team, along with a necromancer, that i will list later.

player 3: blizzard sorceress, what more to say? 10 cold charms.. the usual stuff...

player 4: FO/STATIC sorceress, with maxed FCR, this sorc would tele to throne, then static 1 or 2 time (with massive damage from this party, 2 static should be more than enough) then orb.

player 5: meteor sorc

player 6: summon necro, with good LR (i never player a necro, i know its kinda capped, but i cant remember the level) maxed fire golem, and like 7-8 skels with maxed mastery (because.. everyone know, skel lag as hell, and arent strong, they just used to tank 7-8 should be enough). no revives.

player 7: this is the one i hesitate the most, obviously a druid with maxed oak, 10 druid summon gc, but the druid could be fire claw, fury, elemental, or just plain summon, i dont think it would really change anything, as long as oak give plenty of life for everyone!.

player 8: trap asassin, no more to say.

so you might have noticed i didnt put a barb in this party, for two simple reason: call to arms. every char should have ATLEAST 3klife, but paladins can get to 8k easy with a lvl 19 bo. (yay to spirit!).

so id like to know what u think about that team, and if you have any better/funnier ideas.

Player 1: Any typical overpowered Hammerdin... Shako, Mara's, HotO, Enigma, HoZ, Arachnid, Combat charms of vita, Anni.

Players 2-8: Leech bots.

I cant see a good reason to why you should have a summoning necro really. The tanking wont be needed since every wave will go down too fast no matter what.
I'd still keep it as a necro though, but with LR curse and CE.
If you feel like it, switching the necro for a singer barb would work fine. Stunning warcries, in combination with beefy bo's, cant be wrong. Sure, he wont be able to kill, but would the summon necro? :P A skellie that does 400damage doesnt really lower the killing time when having 2 hammerdins @ 13k & 20k combined with blizzard/fo/meteor/trapsin :P

You forgot that javazon is the best killer in the entire game.

So basically you need one GOOD javazon and conviction aura, the rest players can be leechers, since the monsters just drop and die...

You have too many useless players in the the team really.

Static sorc isnt needed except on baal and any sorc with lvl 1 static can do that.

A good team would consist of:

hammerdin - conc
Blizzsorc
hammerdin - cleanse / conviction
Bo barb - screw the CTA , id rather have lvl 40+ bo then a piddly lvl 19 anyday.

Anything else added to this group would just be sitting around. Maybe a necro for decrep on Baal but thats about it

Dream team:
2x hammerdin, 1 convic 1 conc
1x tele sork (it doesn't matter who, you need one to port, can't be over 95 or it'll want to stick around for baal)
3x javazon
2x blizz sork

But really, there's countless good teams that could be made and in all cases the only time that is taken on the run is inbetween minion spawns and the time between games. A real dream team isn't so much one with perfected killing power as it is one with a perfected system for smooth transitions between games.

3 Bot sorcs... with chicken, atleast one with mh. (Although 99% of the time all of them will have it.)
2 Ebaydins... with chicken.
1 Biatchbaba... with chicken.
1 javebayzon... with chicken.
1 Me, armed with a 9mm hostile gun.

That's usually what I see in public baal games.

my take:
1 telesork (preferably one with stacked light res and good eshield, and with a cta)
1 decked out blizz sork without any regards to safety (that is, stacked with facets, fathom, etc. with res from charms)
1 javazon (don't need to be decked out, any will do)
1 conv pally
rest leechers

i've been to countless runs where only the blizzsork did the killing; the rest just sat there. only trouble with the setup is the second spawn, because the skeletons are ci. that's where you need the javazon (next fastest killer after the blizzsork)
