View Full Version : After a 6-8 month break...
Hey everyone, I used to play D2 EHCL, about 6 months or so ago I took a break. Now here I am, looking to play an RPG, so I got D2 out.
All of my accounts are long expired, obviously, and don't have any friends. :(
I just wanna know what's going on here, how's D2 going, and hoping to meet some people whom I never met. Also just wonderin' if anyone could make a dummy EHCL acct. for me so I don't have to play softcore normal :lol:
Look forward to hanging around w/ yall.
Oh, and my acct. is reLentu

Uh, I was under the impression that it is no longer a requirement to rush through SC before you get into HC.....
you can change some dll's to do that. then again, if you go to sc and shout "omgf b00st for teh hf!111" you'll get a fast boost... and dying doesnt matter :p

hmm no... its only a registry entry... just add:
this is where to look at all the diablo II entries (use run-> regedit)
PATH: HKEY_CURRENT_USER / Software / Blizzard Entertainment / Diablo II /
so there u select the menu on top (edit) and select the folowing
Edit-> New -> DWORD Value
now be sure you edit the name AND data to the folowing
Name:AllowHardcore | Data:1(hexadecimal)
the data will look like: 0x0000000001 (1) (the number of 0's hjere are only an approximation)
if you dont change the hex data to 1 it wont affect anything... it super easy, and not even a hack!
