Ive tryed to read the Ias tables etc but they make no sense to me can someone please explain to me how much Ias I need for a 7Frame Initial Kick with Dtalon and 3Frame follow up kicks. Also does the Ias have to come from the claw you equip first or can it come from any gear. Thank you.

The IAS tables are so the average player does not have to deal with the equations themselves. How much IAS you need depends entirely on 1) weapon type 2) Burst of Speed level (if cast) and 3) IAS (counted from anywhere).

The 7-frame kick table has level of BoS along the left column, base speed of weapon (found from arreat summit) along the top, and the interior is full of IAS values needed.

So I looked at the tables and tell me if I am getting this right. Using a Fury Runic Claw with -30 WSM +40% IAS from Fury Rune Word = 70% IAS. Therefore using this claw and 0 Points into BoS I can acheive 7/3/3/3 Frame Dtalon Kicks?

Not exactly. IAS found on equipment isn't added to the WSM. Look along the top of the table for the initial dtalon kick. Find the column for -30 WSM weapons. The first row in that column tells you how much IAS you'd need on your gear to hit a 7 frame kick with no BoS (46 ias). The second row tells you how much IAS you'd need on gear to hit a 7 frame attack with level 1 BoS (14 IAS). You have 40 ias on your weapon. You can either cast BoS at a minimum of level 1 to hit 7 frames or you can add and additional 6 IAS from another source on your equipment and hit the 7 frame speed with no BoS.

So if I had say 20% Ias on a pair of Gloves + 40% Ias from the Fury Claw then I would have 7frame with follow up 3 frame kicks with Dtalon since I would be over 46% Ias?

eh just another question which i think fits in this thread:

i'm claw/claw and i've read that certain things (such as crushing blow or leech) on my secondary claw don't affect or carry over to my kick. so then does the IAS mod on my secondary claw affect my kick?

nope, only the ias on your primary claw will affect the kick. Sorry.
