Prayer merc with insight runeword

Hello there, will prayer merc anyhow benefict from insight polearm as a sinergy?
Can we get this merc to heal really fast? I can't see any use for him... for now.

yes he will heal faster don't know exactly how much faster though :P but I do also think it is a bug, so it is might not going to last :(

It's not a bug. It's a natural synergy. The merc has the prayer skill which gives healing to the meditate skill. Having insight simply allows you to have both going at the same time for a stacked healing effect. My advice is just be sure and check the strength reqs on whatever polearm you decide to use. I got very excited about an ethereal collossus voulge that I found and put insight on it right away. Unfortunately I am now searching for something that will give my Merc another 15 strength because he can't equip it yet. The cool thing is, I think it will do more or at least as much damage as his old bonehew did.

my eth colossus voulge insight is amazing. My merc does 3.4k alone and with defiance and an eth stone, he hardly ever dies. On top of that I never die, because with mana shield I may lose all my mana in 3 hits from a venom lord but I just tele away wait literally 5 seconds and tele back with a FULL tank of mana. 5 seconds is give or take, but that goes along the assumtion of 1150 mana and a Perfect Insight (rolled a lvl17 medi/250ED) :-) best use of a sol next to my 2 fortitudes

Just so I am clear on this...

Prayer Merc with Insight heals me twice - once from prayer and once from meditation (synergy is heal 1 pt/slvl of prayer every 2 sec). But he doesn't benefit from the meditation healing, only the prayer itself. Also, how often do these auras "tick." By this I mean, how many frames between healing points in mana (meditation) and health (Prayer)?

My merc uses Gface with his eth collosus and it works fine. Most of my mercs wear Gface anyways though :)

Andy Visage (With 15 ias Jewel) hits a sweet break point, life leech and 30 strength :)

Chains of Honor/Gloom : Depending on what you can afford, Chains has Damage reduction, Leech, Damage and res. Gloom is cheaper and also has notable stats (Should also max res).
