but everytime i do it, if i put like 200 dext the blocking rate only comes up to like 35, does that mean its impossible to achieve 75% block with a darkforce?

It will something stupidly high, dont bother getting block if your going too use a darkforce.

Darforce has a 32% chacne to block :xx:
At lvl 80 you need 390 dex for max block.
At lvl 90 you need 437 dex for max block.
Conclusion: dont bother with max block

DS has something like 32% block inherently.

You're not gonna get 75% block out of that. Are you thinking Homunculus?

As you get to ~clvl 90 or so you have to invest a huge amount of dex to max block. Check the max block calc at the diabloii.net front page.

You're going to invest 200 or more dex points to get max block of 75% for a Homunculus.

Last time I checked, the dex point applied to max block ramps at different rates depending on your natural block %.

Two different shields, two different purposes. Homo more for a summoner/all around necro/max block and DS more leaning toward the caster necro with 30% fcr.

That's why people suggest that you don't bother trying to max block with a DS because it won't get high anyways and then you will be wasting dex points where you could be putting it into something else ... like vit for example.

Hope that helps.

Make a true dexromancer and max dex for dforce spawn max block :D

Gogo nothing but charms/charlvl for life!

(not advisable)
