View Full Version : Question on LLD Jewels?
So I found this lvl 18 Carbuncle jewel of carnage with 16 Max damage. I though the most they could get is 15 at that level. So Im thinking of putting it on my twitch armor. Thanks for looking.

If it was +20 you'd have found a *very* expensive jewel. With only +16, I'm not sure what it's worth, but putting it in a twitch seems a bit of a waste imo.

HoD: Thanks for the feedback, I didnt know that a 20 max jewel even exisisted. Ive been reading through the pvp threads and no one ever mentioned a 20 max jewel, all I hear is about 15's. So I was thinking of re-making my lvl 21 Jabber zon again and do some low duels. Iver read that a max damage jewel on Twitch was a good idea so I might do that. Thanks again.

Yeah, using a +15 max in a twitch is good, but you might wanna keep the +16 for when you find a very nice lld item, like a +3zeal warscepter or something. I put plain +15 max in my twitch, which works fine. Btw, I think a lvl 21 jabzon is the old lld101 rules, zons are now allowed to go upto lvl 30. Ofcourse, you can still make a lvl 21, for old times sake ;)

A 15 max jewel on Twitch is a good idea, I only have one of those so I'll put that on. I have a few 14's to scatter around my other equipment. I was thinking of going up to 30 but the Javs I have would be way too weak for that level.Thanks again.

Just to enhance everyone's knowledge...
You can get a carbuncle jewel of carnage, level 18 req, with up to 20 max dmg.
You can get a carmine jewel of carnage, level 27 req, with up to 24 max dmg.
24 max is the highest you can get before it hits level 50 req (Vermillion jewels).
Knarl: Thanks for the info, I didnt know that either, I should really read more stuff in the Arreat Summit. Those 24 max jewels must be pretty hard to find. I was pretty excited when I found a Vermilion Jewel of Ferver, its 15IAS and 15 Max Damage. I put it up on the trade value forums to get a pc but no one answered so I put it on my Mav helm and use it on my Faith zon. Thanks again for the info.

I had one or two 24 max dmg jewels back in .09, but blizzard deleted all 20+ max dmg jewels when 1.10 came, for some unknown reason. So all 20+ max dmg jewels that exist now are 1.10, and therefore are less common than before. So yeah, they are pretty hard to find. :confused:
