Run Noob! Run!!!!

Ok just putting this out there.... does anyone ever get attitude from someone who can't catch you. They start to die slowly, then run to town
to Akara and spam "run more noob ggpwnedkthx." I mean comeon... i;ve gotten this as a bowazon from a tele barb... wtf u want me to do? tank your whirlwinds? I guess no one has heard of moving out of the way... not to mention that theres more to dueling than having more damage and life than your opponent....

I get it all the time on my lvl39 harmony bowazon. People can't accept the fact that I don't have a shield and don't want t be hit by their Oath Crescent axe. Silly.

I have to say the worst is when you both agree to tele (with enigma) then when I start teleing and this bone necro can't catch me (im a wind druid) he starts spamming "Noob Noob Noob!!!!!111!!!oneone!!!" and asks me if we can stop teleporting. I agree, getting tired of his spamming. The clincher: He teleports and doesn't stop....even after we agreed to not teleport...sigh I have a love/hate relationship with pubbies.

and its definitely the most fun ive had in a while

i get something other from barbs :p i place myself so they cant ww correctly and they must use concentrate or berzerk :) i smite them and get stunlock.
often kills them but good barbs give me a smackdown beacuse of the bad weapon i use ^^.

(it really means my reflexes suck, i in fact suck, and i can't win if someone uses a different skill than my click n hold skill)

I also love it when people ask characters like sorcs not to tele lol.

depends what kind of teleporting, i see people tele away 2 screens once you fall into their minimap and spam mindlessly and hope you run into their attacks...

my zon got this for a long time untill i fixed it.. hello 08 wf (although any wf would work) o btw have u ever seen a barbarian get bent over from a zon, i mean i fire so fast that they end up standing stilll getting pumbled... thats when i switch to magik arrow so that i can watch as the 50 arrows though painfull do just enough damage to let me enjoy watching the noob slowly die, unfare? maybe, cruel? mayb fun? you bet :thumbsup:

I duelled with my Zealot and i met this barb ^^
i Zealed him twice and he died then he said: "Stop Using Zeal Palla!!1"
i answered "sure"
and then he tried again not hittig me a single time and this time i killed him with a 800 dmg smite it took longer but worked and he said ^^ "stop using smite palla" and i answered sure again :p.
this time i used charge and he died in 3 hit's then he caps'd and said "sTOP USIN cHARgE pALlA!!11" and i said (i know it reapet's) "Kk!"
And then i vengeanced him. he died in 4 hit's and u know what he said ^^ stop using vengeance i proceeded and kill'd him with a normal attack than he had teh nerve to say ^^ stop using fana :P i switched to defiance and kept doing 2.5k normal dmg + ds at 70% something.
then he said what other skill's do u have i said hammer's and he told me to use them.. after maybe 5 min's he was dead i had lost 200 life he asked me to take of gear and i left ^^
that was some sick **** :-) my friend laughd when he sat beside's me watching the game ^^ ever met such a weak guy at lvl 78? :P

I've told people to stop running. A conc barb against my wolfbarb, I'm outside of town and he comes and whacks me, so I attack him, proceed to bring him down to 1/16 of his life, then he heads to town. Repeat process. I'd be out in the middle of nowheres and he'd come, attack, get waled on, then run.

I had the funniest time of my diablo carrer ever today,

I was in a duel game with my summoner just chilling around and duelling honest people,

Then this foh pala joins named *censored*

He starts interuppting people and everytime he killed someone he was like OMFG PWNED U SILLY NOOB,

he didnt host me but at this time i was getting very pissed
OMG OWNED ASSA SO OWNED
then i went to town hosted him and my 18 skeletons killed him in 2 seconds
Owned? i asked
OMG ILL CALL MY HAMMER FRIEND AND THEN HE AND ME WILL PWN JO
and he did they went outside townguarding and all,
i went to cold plains to gather some monsters and boing them, then i took the backdoor from cold plains and surprised them, the hammmer said OMG NOOB THATS CHEATING, OMG COME I PWN JO YOU SUCK SO MUCH,
he teleported on me*hammer-pala was slain by summoner*, owned my ***?, i went for the foh pala almost got him but he townrunned

heh, that's a great story, my favorite is the stupid fohers who join duel games, hostile everyone and then run out of town and start spamming foh, interrupting duels, nking, etc while spamming "you all bunch of noobs lol" or "get better gear lol", so then I go to my stash, slap on a tgods and wisps put up my ss for another grief and proceed to invite him to the ww waltz and suddenly it's "omg noob, wisps and tgods, omg you suck." I'm left confused cause, like, he said to get better gear, ya know. ;)

How he couldn't catch you is surprising, considering necros have lower cast frames. Hitting you might be one thing, but catching you?

I got me a rabid druid (I aint the richest on d2, but i can usually hold my own) that bites and runs. As a werewolf i get yelled at for "running like a noob" (or newb, n00b, etc). Usually they die, but i guess my point is when is it "proper" to run?

I do the same thing when i'm in a pinch (Usually up against a build that a wolf has no chance in hell of beating without impossible gear)
Otherwise i use rabies and fury in combination to kill my opponents.
I usually stay out of pubbies though since i just can't handle all the sorcs that think townguarding is "Pwning"... but that might have something to do with the fact that i'm usually the one getting "pwnt" :(

But the main reason i usually do private duels is because the people will understand if i'm just testing out different item combos to see what works w/o screaming "JOO NOOB I PWNZORZ JOO GGPWNT KEKEKEKEKEKE!!!!11!"
I came to terms a long time ago with the fact that there are just some lame builds that my wolf CAN'T beat, so it doesn't bother me when i get slaughtered by 3 sorcs at the same time. But it is always funny to see those same 3 sorcs die from my rabies before they can tele back to town ^_^

Many duelers cant seem 2 get to grips with the fact u dont want them 2 hit u,, its a simple conscept maybe 1 day it,ll catch on
