Bear form doesn't work when Full Trang + Beast??

I have a full trang summoner and he uses a Beast. I tried shifting into a bear and the first time I do it, I turn back into a normal necro and the 2nd time I do it, I turn back into the Vampire. After the 3rd try I turn into a Bear but then it lasts about 3 seconds and I morph back into a Vampire.

Is this bug/whatever known?

Yeah, some of us have known about it for quite some time.

For me the shift times have been pretty random. Some days it lets me keep my human form for up to twenty seconds. Other times it will switch back in one second.

I try its posible..

even its posible to not be Vamp even if were full trang set..
when first time click to werebaer I untransform from Vamp to
0.9 look with full trangs
and second time click to werebaer I transform into one..but as soon
U remove beast from weapon slot U will be Vamp again.

Er. If I understood that correctly, thats exactly what my problem is. I can't remain as a bear for a long duration as I shift back in a matter of seconds.

Are you using Waypoints?

Probably something on similar lines. Whenever you use WP to move it shifts the forms back to default. Due to this bug it probably treats the Vampire and Wereform as 2 seperate form to struggle to change.

Try removing one piece of trangs so it doesn't shift to vampire form. Perhaps that can help?

Nope. I run around in vampire form then try to turn into a bear. I want to keep the bonuses from Trang set.

Just as a sidenote...is there any way of using the full tran's and avoiding the gooney looking Vampire morph?

Usually crossing an act via waypoint removes that vampire look. Then you gotta requip part of the set to get it back.

I'm guessing this is just another fun bug. I noticed this in single player awhile back, I guess it just can be stated that using beast for anything but the aura with a trang nec is a bad idea. Gee, another trang bug :rolleyes:

On a side note, do you notice your necro casting any faster with fanat on? I know that mages cast faster with fanaticism I'm curious as to whether or not this would effect a ghoul-lord form nec as well.

No. IAS will not make Trang's cast faster. I tried a six shael phase with the Fanaticism and full Trangs on. The cast rate was the same.

The only way to make it decent is to use Beast to become human again and have 48% faster cast from glove/ring/amulet. Even then you only get a small window of decent cast rate before you auto-shift back to Vampire.
