i was thinking of a build that makes the best use of the fire golem(yes i know all but clay golems suck but still)
20skell
20skell mastery
20golem mastery
20fire golem
1 in all curses and revives and summon resist
i have about +20 to summon skills from all my gear so i think a lvl 40 fire golem with lvl 40 skells could do more dmage then lets say max mages and a bit funner.
and in pvp i would own fire sorc and those invincible fire druids
ps can anyone give me a link to a skill calculator for all classes, i had the bookmark before but i lost it.

Welcome Newcomer to The Darkness. Grab a brew (http://www.lgl.bayern.de/de/left/fachinformationen/lebensmittel/warencodes/_images/bier.jpg) and feel free to raise some corpses.
With those kinds of numbers the FG does a little bit more damage than 2 Fire Mages. So the damage from Mages will be higher.
The build itself is Hell viable and should do well. An added bonus is using a type of Golem not commonly seen. Should be fun.

keep in mind fire sorcs and druids will only have problems killing you as long as you have the golem right in front of you as a wall. You are still vulnerable, the golem is the problem for them, but the golem itself shouldnt be able to kill any dueller :P
Besides, skills like meteor, volcano and armageddon will hit you even if the golem is between you and the enemy ;)

Also, most PvPers will probably aim for you instead of the golem.

Just make that a condition - that they have to beat the golem first.
PvPers will do strange things to get a fight, especially if they are overconfident.
Example:
The last time I duelled someone (a Bone Necro) who was being annoying and nagging people to fight, I got him to agree to rush a bunch of us through act 5 norm, and that I could bring in a different character, and on top of that they were offering gold to anyone that fought them.
So... after the rush I bought in my Passive Aggressive Zon (of the same level as the Boner), hostiled him, took the first waypoint in Act 1 and started running back towards camp (he was guarding the entrance), killed him in about 30 seconds (of which about 28-29 were us running towards each other across the moor). When he died he dropped about 30k in gold, so I took that as my promised reward, ran back into town and said 'thanks, I'll let you retrieve your body'.
About 20 seconds later there were great howls of anguish and he called me a 'money stealing fag'. And I'm like - dude, *you said* you'd give money to anyone that dueled you. And he was like 'oh... oh yeah'.
So just tell them that you'll fight them, but they have to kill your golem at least once before they can target you. Should be mildly amusing (for you, can't say the same for them... :)

thanxs for the responses but when i said pvp i was thinking of being BM and just staying in town and casting golem on them.
i was also thinking about iron golem he gets the thorns aura which helps the skells. so... when fighting the skells will have their damage with the might aura an on top of that when they get hit there will be some damage returned. and maybe if i maxed out IM there would be more of an effect.
and i think a maxed iron golem with maxed mastery would do well, and i could posibably make him immune to elemental damage.

as far I remember thorns from IG works only when oponents hit
IG. It will not transfer to you or your skelies.

It is in terms of the amount of damage it reflects per level of IG Thorns. But it differs in the fact that this aura is for the IG only.

Most fire druid attacks are part physical and will probably cause your golem to croak pretty easily. Against a fire sorc a 1 point golem works just as well because they are fire immune, so no damage is dealt to them whether at level 1 golem/mastery or level 43 golem/mastery (a sorc isn't gonna stand still to let the golem harm her)
I use a fire golem with my venomancer to help take care of the one remaining point, and it's "immune" property does annoy the hell out of fire sorcs :D
Besides, skills like meteor, volcano and armageddon will hit you even if the golem is between you and the enemy
The meteor aspect really doesn't matter as it won't be used as much (it's pretty useless pvp :p )
