MF and GF are added to ALL your minions, including the merc.

If either you or minions (excluding your merc) get the last hit and kills the mob then the total amount of MF on you would count.

If the merc gets the last hit and kills the mob then the total amount of MF tallied that would count would come from all the MF gear you are wearing in addtion to all the MF gear your merc is wearing also.
